If you're like me, you just have to get used to it. When I first started riding(for travel, sometimes 10miles at a time) I got deep bruises all on my inner thighs and butt. It stung! But, I stayed with it. The pain and bruises went away. You're doing something you're not used to.

My motto is, you have to figure out what works for you. What kind of foods are you eating? If it's leaving you feeling hungry, switch it up! Oatmeal fills me up, but leaves my boyfriend starving. Also, try eating smaller meals. I LOVE to eat. If I feel like I'm eating all of the time, I feel fuller. It tricks my brain.…

Wow, cottage cheese?? Almond butter?? I never even thought to add any of that! I eat my oatmeal plain, No sugar, nothing. Sometimes, I may add some fruit, but usually, just me n my oats. yumz.

I'm having the same issues. My shins are beginning to ache, but I'm not sure if it's normal muscle ache or shin splints. I've asked my friends and some other runners I know and they pretty much gave me the same advice. FORM, FORM, FORM. I am currently working on getting my form the best that I can. You have to be careful…

Unfortunately, this site is not totally full of hopeful positive people. I read your thread and was disgusted. It was something akin to telling someone with anorexia to simply "start eating". Some of those people put you down, to make themselves feel better. I know it's hard, but you have to learn how to feel some…

Really, I just want to to be at 182-180 by my birthday, august 26th. Had a really hard day yesterday, but I have faith that I can do it!
-
Wooooow! Doing this after I finish the 30DS!!!! You look great!
-
I am at 186.2 now and I would like to be a solid 182 by my birthday. It's gonna be a tight squeeze because my birthday is the 26th of August, but I know I can do it! That's 2 pounds a week! woof! :)

WOW! That shirt is so big on you now! WTG, darling!

You look like you've traded some of that fat in for muscle! I've only lost 16 pounds since January and I know FOR SURE that I've lost more fat and added a nice bit of muscle. It's probably the same for you! I agree, sexy man; keep up the good work! :)
-
Wow! You look great! Can't wait until I am where you are! <3

^She took the words right out my mouth! I lose ALL my boobs when I lose weight! Damn girl, you look incredible!

...what??

I think you should at least eat back some of them. They should be nutrient dense and healthy, though. Not just anything because the calories add up. If you're eat 1,400 and you burn 500cals it's really like you only consumed 900 calories. That is not good for muscle building. You have to feed that muscle to keep it strong…

50 pounds would put me at a lean 136 where is exactly where I want to be!!
-
I think that would definitely fall into the category of aerobic. You're breathing heavier, your heart rate is up, and you're not doing short bursts of energy. Oh, this is getting all scientific! :)
-
This is interesting! But, I think you burn glycogen no matter what. It's all a part of Cellular Respiration that converts glucose into ATP giving us the energy for our muscles to even move at all. But, I see what you're saying! The immediate and short use of muscles probably creates a huge boost in Cel Resp and then…

What I've been doing is only adding specific exercise time to the tracker. The other night I went dancing with my BFF and we LITERALLY dance for 6 hours straight. The tracker said I burned 2,300 calories. But, I did not count it as actual exercise and kept my calories around 1,400. I usually walk 1.5miles to the train and…

This isn't my first rodeo either. I lost 25lbs in 2 months back in April/May of 2008. I had just gotten out of a stressful relationship and for some reason the pounds just fell off. I kept it off until around April of last year. I got into another relationship and had a job as a cashier at the local Whole Foods. It may…
