45min 654kcal 4.49km Had so much energy tonight, my poor legs just kept on going and going. I reduced the incline so it's virtually flat and this has helped. I have chunky legs and the pain was just too much that it sapped my calories because I was unable to run for distance to keep my heart rate up!

Great response! Unfortunately I had a lot going on recently, I started a new job on Tuesday and have to attend my sisters wedding this weekend. Let's schedule something for the end of November. I will put an event down for November the 29th (Saturday). However Sunday is fine to post results too.

Just downloaded that app to my iphone now, I also purchased a polar calories counter watch (forget the special name for them) - It has a strap for heart rate monitor, at least this way I can get somewhat accurate data, compared to my treadmill!

It does not give me the option to input my weight and height, it's not an overly expensive treadmill but it was not cheap either. I am going to look at one of them heart rate monitors on amazon.

Does the heart rate monitor tell you how many calories you are burning? I might invest in one? I know nothing about them! Your routine was similar to what I ran but the "computer" on my treadmill said only 120 cal burnt

Not sure if my treadmill calorie counter is lying to me. I have it on the highest incline and did 4k but said I only burnt off 120 calories. I was jogging for a lot of this? Not sure but it always seems low... I've been away from the treadmill for a few days, and ate a dominos in the week, ready to get back on tomorrow…

That's an interesting idea paytra, I find myself needing a target time to stop the running otherwise I give up easy and go back to the jog... I will try this!
