Good aversion
So I wanted to incorporate some fish into my diet. The problem is that I have an allergy to fin fish. So I thought I'd go for shellfish, which I can eat safely. But if I eat too much the smell starts to get to me and my stomach starts to protest. Is there anything I can do?

Am I doing something wrong?
I've been maintaining a deficit and trying to eat better but I don't seem to be losing like I should. Add to that I got sick for some reason on Thursday/Friday. Stomach hurt like crazy. Maybe Wednesday, it was the day I had mcdonalds and then the days after. I have been exercising. I just don't know what's going on.

Try Again
So a few years ago I lost about 60 lbs, going from 213 to 153. I now think that that is a bit too low for me, but that is beside the point. But I then transferred to a different college, and got into professional school for Civil Engineering and have been sorta stress eating and not exercising as much as I should be. As…

Day off
So I decided to take the day off from the gym, since I went Monday and yesterday and am going tomorrow and Friday. I felt my muscles needed rest but after stretching I feel better. Now I feel antsy because I am not going. Is a day off a good idea?

Sports for large frame
My husband and I are looking for sorts/hobbies to do together as well as sports for me. I am big. When I'm at a healthy body fat (20-25%) I'm still around 170 to 180 pounds. I have broad shoulders and hips and am SLOW. I've done boxing and kickboxing but it's always with women who I outweigh by near 60 pounds and I'm…

Alternatives to Coffee for caffiene
So I can't drink coffee because it does nasty things to my stomach. However I also have to wake up at 5:30 or 6 in the morning. So instead I have some instant green tea that I drink if I have to go to class. I'm wondering if anyone else has this issue and how they solve it.

Starting week 2, what I learned
so its been one week so far and I've learned a bit. First is that I've either overestimated my calories, underestimated my activity, or something else because 4.7 pounds in one week is odd, especially since my cycle is nearing an end and I should be putting on water weight. Perhaps this might be due to my reliance more on…

Trying again
I'm 28, 5'8", and 235 lbs. I've tried before but stuff kept on getting in the way. Class and work and a hurt boyfriend kept me away from the gym. Add to that an aversion to cooking and bad *kitten* happens. Seriously hate cooking. If I never have to cook again I will be ok with that. So for me it's a matter of portion and…

Don't look smaller
so over the past two and half months I've lost somewhere around 10lbs. I don't log much cause I'm busy and using the pedometer in my phone drains the battery. But today I did, and no wonder I've been losing. 15k steps so far today and there is no way I can eat that back. But my pants don't seem to be getting looser, and I…

Fell off the wagon
So I fell off the wagon, want to get back on. I don't know what "activity level" to use. My summer job (internship) has me walking 6-10 miles a day, but beyond that I get home and kinda pass out. Decided to cut back on processed foods (not cut out yet, wean off gradually). Looking for meal ideas I can take with me that…

Greetings
So I've reached the point where I want to be healthier. My doctor says I'm still ok in terms of heart rate, blood pressure, etc. But still I worry. I'm 5'8" and just hit 215lbs. My fiancé just went back to work after being off for health reasons, so I figure this is a good time. I've logged my exercise from this morn,…

Machines, huh?
So I've decided to do some strength training as well as elliptical cardio. My college has a very nice gym with a lot of equipment that is included in the fees I pay. I tend to shy away from the free weights, since that area is super crowded and I prefer to be left alone when I exercise. The machine area is less populated…
