Partial Knee Replacement -Words of Wisdom??
The past three years I’ve amped up my workout routine. Four weeks ago I had a partial knee replacement. I’ve been going to physical therapy and am progressing well. Chomping at the bit to get back to the gym. Any advice from others who’ve been there??

I've never done spin before. I know my fanny gets sore riding a regular bike which stands to reason an hour spinning will do the same. Looking for advice and attire recommendations!! Thanks so much!!!

Digging Deep!
Tomorrow at 4am, I will be going to run on a treadmill in the workout room at work. This is very early but I am determined to build my endurance/stamina for running a 5k mid-March. Running outside is difficult for two reasons: snow and lack of daylight. Made a lot of progress last year and want to pick up where I left off…

Advice for making jump from 5k to 10k??
Okay, just tonight my son's girlfriend challenged me to a 10K. I've only done a few 5Ks but workout regularly. The winter weather in Michigan hampers running regularly outside. Unexpected and Surprising
2015 has been a journey of self discovery. Got involved in a workout studio close to my home. The surprising thing is I dared to go sleeveless. What was surprising is in a couple photos I saw the definition in my upper arms. Not flexed! Burpees are still an effort. 2016 mantra - finish what I started in 2015!!

The Sarong Tied Up
I bought a lengthy sarong years ago on a cruise in the western Caribbean. I bought a swim top that coordinates with it and it serves as a cute cover up skirt!⚓️

Skinny? Who me? Still on journey!!
It's been a long time since anyone has used that word to describe me!! I've heard it a few times in the past few weeks and again today! I began this journey AGAIN January 2. Though I'm far from perfect, I have discovered a great studio called Mind & Movement. These women who teach there are relentless but oh so…

Excessive (Obsessive?) trying on clothes
I always arrange my clothes on Sundays for the upcoming work week. This week is highly unusual because I'm going out of town (work related). Additionally, I'm headed to a weekend country concert after that. I think I have tried on no less than 30 outfits today. Probably a little crazy but there's so much to choose from…

How would you label these workouts?
I've always done some form of cardio but it got to the point I wasn't making progress with it. Since the beginning of the year Ive redirected my focus to what I think are strenghth work outs. What category would you put the following workouts in?? (1) one of the work outs include some modest (8-10-15lb) weights. Various…
