I've always done some form of cardio but it got to the point I wasn't making progress with it. Since the beginning of the year Ive redirected my focus to what I think are strenghth work outs. What category would you put the following workouts in??
(1) one of the work outs include some modest (8-10-15lb) weights. Various body areas for 30 minutes.
(2) one particular workout I've been doing is called 1KR (1,000 reps) the goal is to complete 10 reps x 10 moves x10 rounds in a 40 minute timeframe. Examples of 10 moves are various burpees, various push ups, star jumps, side body lifts, bicycle crunches, superman ab. I think it's incredibly tough workout for a 50 something
I'm just wondering how these compare to what others call strength training??
