Maximise Recovery? How? What supplements?
Hey guys, I've recently started at the gym, as I have one at work so have started going on my lunches. I do about a 40 min run for now, but wanted to know how to maximise Recovery. I want to ideally go for 5 consecutive days (weekdays) and then have the weekend off. I feel a 40 min run 5 days in a row isn't too extreme? I…

Sagging neck / double chin
Hi, I'm relatively slim. My BMI is around 22. I fit into extra small and small mens clothing. However I seem to have a double chin / sagging neck area. Is there a way to get rid of this? (other than "just lose weight") Thanks!

Men 2500 calories ?
If men are supposedly meant to eat around 2500 calories (to maintain weight?) then why does my Google fit show a lot less calories being used in a day? These are all active calories apart from 29 inactive calories. http://i.imgur.com/9dOUvaO.jpg

Increasing muscle with body fat
I'm not large, but I do have a bit of blubber on me which I'm trying to get rid of, taking ages!! Haha My question is, if I was to build up abs or something, would everything in that region tighten up and be pulled in, or would larger muscles push it out more and make my belly look bigger? Thanks!

Is 5k in 30 minutes slow?
I know there's no right or good speed to go, but is this a poor time? It's what I can manage at the moment (not easily though) and of course am still looking to improve. What is a good time to aim for if I'm interested in becoming fit (low body fat, strong heart, etc)

Vitamin tablets?
As I've cut down my calories quite a lot usually to around 1200, I usually also take multi vitamin tablets. Is this a good idea? (I know getting it from food is better, but I want to know if this is the next best thing)

Protein vs carbohydrates etc
Just out of curiosity, say I was trying to lose and was eating around 1200 calories a day... What would be the difference if those 1200 were mostly carbs e.g. Bread Or if they were mostly protein e.g. Chicken Thanks!

Building lean muscle and eating 1200 calories
Just wondering if this is possible. My main goal is to lose fat, but if I could build lean muscle then that'd be good too... Basically I'm eating around 1200 calories a day, but trying to make that mostly protein. I'm also going to the gym and doing cardiovascular and weights. So is it possible?

UK Spaghetti Squash?
So I've got a spiralizer. And so I went to make some spaghetti bolognese! Now I know the most popular vegetable to use is courgette (zucchini for Americans?) however I'm quite fussy and don't like it. So I went for squash. I used butternut squash and it was okay but not overly nice. Online the best thing to use is…

Easy, low calorie and filling snacks?
Just wondering if anyone dieting or just eating healthy has any snacks which are healthy, cheap and easy? Like Asda / weight watchers do mini crust less quiches for 250 calories. What does everyone eat? Cheers!

Calves hurt when running
I've been doing interval running (I'm not every fit so don't judge) on the treadmill at the gym. I do 2 and a half minutes of running, then the same walking, and keep alternating. However when I run my calves kill, and I just can't run sometimes because it really hurts. I've tried waiting 3 days for it to repair, but it…

1200 calories and exercise?
So the general rule is don't go under 1200 as it'll cause your body to go into starvation mode and store fat etc? If I go to the gym and burn 800 calories would I have to then eat 2000? Since dieting a few weeks ago my stomach has shrunk and my apetite is tiny (used to be huge so I'm pleased with that and don't want it to…
