What should I try to eat and what should I stay away from (personally)
My diet issues stem from more than just portion control. I do not try hard enough to eat healthy options, mostly due to not having a lot of variety available, but also because I do not try. This is what I like: Apples, Bananas, Watermelon, carrots, celery, broccoli, kholrabi, green beans, brown beans, spinach, artichoke…

What are your unhealthy food loves?
For me I cannot stop myself from over-indulging in: Mac n Cheese, other pasta and noodles, gummy snacks, pudding, and Nutella, and this is a drink technically but calorie wise it packs a punch: soda. So I stay away from them, or I try anyway. How about you?

Building up to the build I want
My work out system is currently just a brisk pace on the elliptical with warm ups and cool downs on the treadmill. I sometimes use the work out bicycle and I bike to get around too. I have a bit of a sedentary life when not working out or not going somewhere. But my question is, how should I build up to other exercises,…

Binge Alert! Binge Alert!
It's not even 9pm on a Friday and I am alone with nothing to do. My friend I had over left earlier than planned. I have gotten some exercise today, but there is always room for more. I have had 2 drinks, but I think I am only tipsy at most. The junk food I consumed tonight were correct portions and I stayed under my…

The Netflix Workout
Buzzfeed came out with this a little while ago. The Netflix Workout you can do from your couch. I did it for a short while before getting distracted. When you have a very sedentary life like me, you like to be able to do your fun things and have a healthy life. I want to get back into doing this. I can watch my shows and…

How to keep motivated on diet and exercise when your S.O has it, "easy"
I have trouble losing weight, shock, I can maintain better than I can lose it. My girlfriend on the other hand is one of those people who has a naturally skinny build and has trouble not only gaining but maintaining as well. She has never had the problem I have, and vice versa. I do not think she has it easy, I just think…

Another Post About Joining Together to Battle Weight Loss
I know there are a ton of posts like this, many of which I am sure you have agreed to work with. But I wanted to make one because I can. I have a massive weight loss journey ahead of me. I need to lose 127 pounds. Only I can eat right and exercise my body. But you all can cheer me on and also whup my butt when I slack. You…

New kid on the block
Hello, I am Susan. I just joined this morning. I had an app similar to this on my computer, but it took up space on my hard-drive so I am using a site instead. I started gaining weight rapidly the last few months of my senior year in high school. Now I am a senior in college and I desperately want to take off this fat-suit…

Where do My Remaining Calories Go?
So I earned 159 more calories to my diet tracker because of what I burned off on my workout this morning. What happens if I have leftover calories after I am done eating for the day? Do they disappear when the new day starts, add to the next day, or do they help the site calculate what my daily caloric intake will be…

Anyone tried the raw food diet?
I try not to be won over by fads (no such luck apparently). The old exercise regularly and watch portion sizes trick is probably the best way to go. But, I tried the raw food diet years ago when I was first trying to control my weight, and I felt so good on it. I felt fresh, and detoxed. I was also working out an hour a…

How often should you have a "Crazy Day" during your diet?
Some people can afford to have one day of their diet and exercise goal be free to eat something they should not usually consume. How often should someone do that? Or, shoudl they do it at all? Like, one day a month I can eat pasta? That would be my idea of a crazy day.

Has Anyone Tried "Beachbody Portion Control Container Kits?"
I saw an infomercial for these while at the gym this morning. I know I could probably create my own because they reveal what sizes each container is, but I wanted to be legit and use theirs since it was they who gave me the idea. Has anyone tried them? Do they work? Are they obsolete with MyFitnessPal? Let me know what you…
