Cutting- Keeping it Simple?
Background. I'm 52. Not a big guy nor a big eater. I did manage to get some pounds on and then leaned down. I read a lot on this website about cutting. Seems to be over complicated Most of us are not mass monsters and will not be Ronnie Colemens types. I found the cutting process to be very simple. Eat at a slight deficit…

60 Days to Old Man Abs - Day 39
This has been a real challenge. Always a fan of sweets and bread. Needless to say they got the boot. I'm more then happy with the progress. You're never to old to set and achieve goals. And you don't need to buy some program geared towards older people. " Abs after 40" comes to mind. Everything you need to know is out…

Accu-Measure for BF
No Easter Bunny coming here so I bought myself this. I've got it in my head I should try to get some abs. I set a 60 Days to Old Man Abs on April 1. Day 15 today and these things read 15.75 % BF. This by far is one of the most difficult fitness goals I've set. And I haven't set many .. heh

Gains, Pain & Middle Age - 5 pounds in 3 weeks
Greetings Gainers, Wasn't easy but I've managed to put on a few (5) pounds. At first it seemed a impossible task. The food diary on MFP does help. For me anyways. I've also come to the realization I'm not young anymore. Funny how the mind still thinks it's 25 yet the joints and tendons tell you otherwise. With that I'm…

Anyone have a reliable cal and macro on this dish? White potatoes boiled with skin then fast fry in pan with olive oil. I have my oil count. The food data search is giving me numbers all over then map for the spuds. Thanks :-)

Push, Legs, Pull & Rest Split. Order?
Wondering what others think of the order for this routine. I used this 25 years ago with results and now again for the past 3 months. Knowing we all go with what works for each individual. I was surfing youtube vids and see a lot of this split in the order of push, pull, legs and pull, push & legs. I'm under the impression…

Foam Roller Relief or Placebo?
I've been dealing with knee pain after squats the last month. It feels a lot like runners knee and it usually clears up after 3 days. Just in time for squats again. I bought lifting shoes and sleeves to see if that would help. Not so much. I'm still playing with my stance and form to see if that will help going forward. In…
