Push, Legs, Pull & Rest Split. Order?

Wondering what others think of the order for this routine. I used this 25 years ago with results and now again for the past 3 months. Knowing we all go with what works for each individual.
I was surfing youtube vids and see a lot of this split in the order of push, pull, legs and pull, push & legs. I'm under the impression that a leg day between push and pull would be better for recovery as it relates to using secondary muscle from pull days for push days etc.
Thoughts?
Thanks :-)

I run this a couple times a year between 531 cycles, and will be starting back up on it next week.
My order is pull, push, legs because I have deads on pull day and that gives me a day before I hit legs.
I've had good recovery/progress running it this way.0 -
Are you running that split twice a week? If you are taking a rest day between each split you should be fine. But even if you are doing the 3 day split twice in a week doing back to back push pull days should be fine. Those days are really working pretty different muscles, without any overlap I can think of.0

Doing DL's with that order makes sense.

Working great for me running this twice a week at my age. Just getting some general input on order variation :-)0 -
Wait.... if you run this twice a week then no matter how you order it you'll end up with push pull days back to back.... So I guess do whatever you like.0
