What has 2019 done for you?
2019 will soon draw to a close and I am curious how your year has been because I am nosy that way. Have you learnt any important lessons? Do any moments stick out for you? Did you discover anything new? Etc etc, you get the picture.

What's something you wish you could tell your younger self?
Just interested to read people's life lessons. I would tell myself to walk away from people who continue to hurt me. I've had to really work on setting boundaries with people as I've got older. Still not the best at it in my late twenties!

Active Recovery Question
I lift weights four times a week at the gym. At the start of each session I jog for 15 minutes on the treadmill just because I like it and it burns a few extra calories. What should I be doing for my active recovery days? I'd like to add outdoor running but don't want to overdo things.

How often do you recalculate your goal?
I am wondering how often I should be recalculating my calorie goal? For context - I started three months ago at 135lbs, I am now 125lbs with a goal weight of 112lbs. I am 5"1 and have been eating 1300 calories a day, logging everything with a food scale and double checking database entries. I go to the gym 3-4 times a week…

Dumbbell lateral raises
Hi, I have a question. When doing dumbbell lateral raises, should I be feeling a squeeze in my shoulder blades? Not painful, just a squeeze. I was wondering if I'm not standing straight enough.

Sweet Treats
Hi lovely people, I'm looking for ideas for low cal sweet treats as this is my biggest downfall! I am 5"1, weighing 136lbs and wanting to get back down to 112lbs. This means I only have 1300 calories for the day. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Mayonnaise
Does anyone have any suggestions for mayonnaise alternatives? I knew it was high in calories but not *that* high! Yes, I do know I could plan ahead to have it etc etc all that good stuff, but some alternative ideas would be most welcome! Also, I am not a fan of the Hellmanns lighter mayo.

Best cycling clothing?
I have a question for fellow cyclists, specifically UK females, regarding the best brand of clothing for cycling. I recently bought a bike and I have been wearing my Nike running gear (leggings, long sleeve jersey and waterproof lightweight jacket), however I am still absolutely way too cold, I cycle next to the river…

UK Cyclists
My OH is buying me a bike at the weekend so I can cycle to the gym as it is only 3.4 miles away and I HATE stationary cardio. I am just wondering what the rules are, am I legally obliged to cycle on the road? I live along a country road with lots of fast moving traffic and I would be frightened to cycle on it if I'm…

Question
Hi everyone, When I am wearing my fitbit charge HR do I still have to manually input my exercises in to MFP? I have both the apps synced and my calories adjust throughout the day according to the fitbit data. Does this mean I no longer add the exercise or do I still add it? I am worried about adding too much exercise and…

Recovery question
Hello all, I have a question regarding recovery from exercise. I am just getting back in to exercising regularly and aim for 3 - 4 times a week whereas before it was once or twice. I do a mixture of cardio and resistance training. Last friday I went to a spin class which I loved and was able to keep up, however my legs are…

Going over on calories
Hi, I have a question for you guys. When you go over your calories what do you do? Do you burn it off? Do you just write it off and move on? Do you deduct some the next day? I'm 102 calories over today and I was just wondering if it was worth scheduling an extra gym session to make up for it.

How often should I exercise?
This may seem like a frankly ridiculous question but how often do I need to go to the gym to see results? Currently I am going three times a week for just over an hour. I spend my time there lifting weights. I don't have any specific goals outside of making my body strong and healthy. I'm sorry if this is a silly question.

I'm back, again...
Hey all, I'm 25 from the UK and I'm back at square one once more. My journey is a source of frustration to me, I was a fat kid but lost two stone when I was 17, I worked out regularly and felt awesome. My early twenties saw me suffering from anxiety issues as a result of some unfortunate circumstances which led to weight…
