60lbs down after back surgery!
In 2016 I weighed in at 200 lbs. On my 5’4” frame it was destroying my body. That year I herniated 2 disks in my lower back and ended up needing surgery to stop nerve damage. My surgeon said that if I didn’t lose weight he would be seeing me again to operate on the other disk. I was terrified! After physical therapy I…

Binge eating. Would like advice.
Over the last year I have successfully lost 60lbs. I went from 200lbs to 140. I'm so proud of myself. During that time I had iron willpower and skill power. Almost nothing could tempt me or keep me from my goals. Now I am an exercise junkie. I have upped my calories from 1500 to 1650 because I was starving all the time.…

Not enough calories- rant
Over the last year I have lost about 60 lbs. I'm 5'4" 140 lbs. I exercise almost every day, sometimes twice a day. My registered dietician has me eating only 1500 calories a day! We've talked about upping my calories. I was tested and have a RMR of 1350 calories. I tried carb cycling but it doesn't seem to work when I'm…

Up to this point I had been successful at losing 50 lbs. the lithium has…

Just need to vent
My weight has been stuck for a bit- about 4-6 weeks. It's not a plateau. I've been up and down on the scale. Mostly just severe water retention. I use HappyScale. First thing to note is that I'm bipolar and am on A LOT of medication. Because of this my Pdoc had me on Metaformin to help keep the "weight gain" symptoms of…

Not enough potassium
Despite all my efforts I have not succeeded in getting my daily allowance of potassium. Firstly, I am vegan. I never seem to get more than 2,000 mg. I eat lots of leafy greens (I add spinach to just about everything!), red and sweet potatoes and other potassium rich foods. I've never had a doctor complain about my…

1500 calories not enough
I'm not sure I'm eating the right amount of calories. Sometimes I work out twice a week sometimes 4. I'm on my feet all day and have my setting at lightly active. I think I need to increase my calories. MyFittnessPal has me at 1500 calories a day and is leaving me extremely hungry. Ideas?
