Starting to show some progress....
50 Lbs lighter and the odd muscle appearing. Taken 2 yrs, maybe with another year or two someone will say “hey, do you workout?” :) But who gives a *kitten* when you’re 64 :(

Wake up call
Been training 2 yrs now, transformed my body shape. Wish I had started 40 yrs earlier not at aged 62 :( Went to the doctor, he said “Don’t eat anything fatty” I said “What no chips or fry ups?” Doctor said “ No fatty, just don’t eat anything! “ :)

Smartwatch for weight training?
Anyone use a smartwatch to control / log their training? What watch / app works well? I have an iPhone and am considering an Apple watch as my iPhone has narrowly escaped damage a couple of times in the gym, and I like gadgets :)

Strange weight loss
Started March 17 on 226lbs and no muscle :( Starting weights and MFP April 17 and dropped to 185lbs in a few months. 2300 ish cals steadily dropped my weight to 180lbs Jan / Feb. Been on 1900 cals and training with weights 3 or 4 times a week for a 5 weeks now. Weight dropped from 178lbs and hovered for 2 weeks at 176lbs.…

18 week analysis, how can I improve?
Age 62 and after 46 lb loss in previous 6 months. What happens in Bulk phase?
What should I expect in the following circumstances? Clean bulk from 15% fat state ie. • Training hard and heavy in the gym • clean bulk with 250 to 500 cal excess Muscle and fat increase pound for pound? Muscle to fat 2:1 ish ratio ? Fat to muscle 2:1 ish ratio ? I know we’re all different but what’s your experience?

9 week update
March to October, 6 months healthy eating and gym 3 / 4 times per week weights. Easy, this fitness lark.....
12st 11lbs or 179lbs today giving a total net weight loss of 47lbs since March 20th (8 months). That’s 3lb in a week, probably a bit too much. What’s different in the last week? - Using JeFit app to speed up my workout. (Unlikely as less than a week) - Added an extra 100 cals taking me to 2250, 400 below TDEE. (Favourite)…

New (hopefully more realistic) target.
Thanks for (most of) the replies to my last thread. Been revising my target after learning, particularly from a post from sgt1372 in my previous thread. Started at 144 muscle/bone and 44 fat (188 with 23.4% fat) on 16 October. Now at 183 lbs Target was 180 with 15% body fat ( as I liked the body pics I saw at this level )…
