Are sweeteners found in soda bad like they are made out to be?

Is sodium consumption something to watch closely?
Hello, Just a curious question - do we need to watch sodium consumption closely? I regularly consume maybe 1800 - 2000 milligrams a day. I never add any to my food - that is just what is in the food I eat. Should it be lowered or is it not much to think about?

Should I watch sugar intake when I eat lots of carbs.
My diet is already high in fibre and protein - being mainly from lots of good carbs, beans, pulses and lots of veg. Mainly chicken is the choice of meat or salmon. How much fibre is too much?
Just curious - I am 21 - 6ft - 69kg looking to gain a little weight about 5kg - want to add flax seeds and chia seeds to my breakfast in the morning but these are high in fibre - my diet is fairly high in fiber already from grains, pulses veg and nuts. How much fibre is too much or does it vary for each individual?
