How much protein do I ACTUALLY need?
My goal is to gain muscle while losing just a bit more fat...I am eating 1g per pound of my estimated lean body mass(155) or should it be 1g per pound of total body mass(170)?

1 lbs gain per week
If I set my goal and calculator to 1 lbs gained per week...Will that result in mostly muscle or will it pretty much be an even split between muscle and fat gain? Where should my macros be to ensure it is mostly muscle being gained?

Losing too much LBM?
So I weighed myself today and according to the scale I lost more weight but my BF% is the same...Does this mean I am mostly losing lean body mass and muscle? If so how do I fix it, or is it a matter of needing to put in a lot more effort at the gym?

Different calorie goals per day
So I set my calorie goal at a slight deficit on workout days, and a larger deficit on rest days because I won’t need as much fuel... Is that the best way to do it for weight loss if I still want to maybe see some newbie gains as well?

Active recovery days
I would like to be more active on my rest days, just to avoid being too lazy. Can I do light body weight exercises on those days or should I just stick to cardio? I am doing SL 5x5 currently so I have Tuesday’s, Thursday’s and the weekend as rest days.

Best Whey protein
I have been using Isopure whey protein because I like the flavors they have and it mixes easier than the stuff I have had before which were just grocery store off brands.... Is isopure one of the good ones or should I be looking for something else?

Ready to start maintaining?
I feel like 180 pounds would be a good weight for me to be at, if I had muscle and not such a big gut. I hit 180 at my last weigh in but I am still around 25% body fat, should I switch my calories to maintain mu current weight and just work harder to build more muscle, or continue to eat at a deficit?

Got my butt in gear
Not your typical success story but I got my butt in gear and took the first step! I gave up soda and sweet tea on Christmas Eve last year and have lost 22 lbs making that one change! Hoping to see more change now that I am using the app to keep track!! Need to celebrate the small successes along the way!!

Calories burned while lifting weights?
How many calories do you actually burn while doing things like Barbell Squats and Bench Press, as well as other weighted exercises?
