first time doing a cut (with nutrition coach) i am eating 1900 calories for my first week in a deficit. I know it’s only been a week but shouldn’t the scale drop a little.. has not dropped legit at all.

Weighing food
Question about weighing meat for meal prep! So let’s say i weigh 16oz of ground turkey raw and then i cook it and want to put it into 4 separate containers for the week, do i weigh out each container with 4oz cooked meat then? doesn’t it shrink? or do i just eyeball each amount evenly split? please let me know ( new here…

deadlift
Hi! So i’ve been working out for a while but during deadlifts I only really feel them in my back side of legs and never feel it in my lower back. Is this okay? I want to feel some of it in my lower back because I feel that’s like the only workout that hits the lower back.

adding exercise to app or no

So right now my calories are around 1,700 a slight calorie deficit, and I was wondering if I should add my exercise (calories burned) in because let’s say i have 700 calories left the exercise then bumps me up to like 1100 again, I feel like I would just be eating them back.
