Comfortable taking selfies again
There was a time when I was weighing about 200 ish pounds where I would not look at a mirror let alone feeling comfortable taking selfies in front of it. But ever since I started exercising and eating better my self esteem has taken a boost. I never want to shame my body again, in any of its forms, or at any weight !

41 pounds gone in half a year.
The left was me at my heaviest 205 lbs 5”7 and 24 years old. On my right 164, 25 years old. It really got me when a former student of mine saw me and said “Miss you look 15 years younger” I hadn’t realized how much my weight was holding me back from being an effective and energetic teacher, plus in my personal life. It is…

Agility ladder as cardio ?
I was wondering if agility ladder exercises should be incorporated as a cardio ? And how long the exercises should be done (10-20-30 min?) in order to have a successful cardio day.

Leg day question
Hello, In my fitness routine I have two leg days (weight training) one Monday and one Friday. I do the same exercises on both days. However I was wondering if I could change my Friday to HIIT with a stepper. Will it still work (strengthen) my legs enough to count as a leg day ? Or will it be more of a cardio day rather…

33 pounds down
It was and is extremely hard to do this every single day. I was at my heaviest 4 months ago at 200 pounds and now I sit at 166lbs. 5”8. Once a week binge
So I have been keeping up with my 1,400 cal every day but I have noticed that about once every one or two weeks I’m binging from 2,000 to 3,000. I’ve lost 20 pounds with my diet so far. I guess I’m just worried that binging once every one or two weeks will have a negative impact on my progress.

Calf strain
Any suggestions for fast recovery on a calf strain ? I am not sure if rolling out and stretching would be helpful or just make it worse. I got it by jumping rope and boxing. Should I just let it rest ?

It was a tough thing for me to start out, however I will admit I was increasingly excited about starting a diet and even more a gym routine.
