I have recently started hitting the punching bag and Ended up with a bit of a sore shoulder, also I’ve been jumping rope a while however I just got over Achilles tendinitis, how should I start jumping back up without injuring myself again. And tips for a punching bag beginner to prevent shoulder pain. My plan is to box 3 times a week, weights 6 days a week and jump rope 5 days a week, too much ? I’m a 5”8 22yr old 168 pound female trying to lose 33 to get to 132 !

^^ This. Try a softer, more giving surface. And...talk to a sports therapist or physiotherapist.

Try a mat. You may have to take a break till it feels better.

I use light weight shoes with good padding on the balls of my feet.

Check out fightTIPS on You Tube. I've just discovered this channel and the guy talks a lot of sense. As well as shoulders, elbows can really suffer but he deals with that, too.
