Hello,
First congrats on that weight loss !! What I do that has worked for me is stay in a consistent calorie deficit. I do have “treat” meals once a week usually. And I won’t binge the whole day but I will plan it ahead of time. I stay at 1,400 cal every day religiously (usually fill it with protein). I do weight training 5 days a week and cardio spread out as well. I mostly try to stay active outside of the gym I also coach basketball. I think the key is to stay consistent. It took me 6 months to do this, the worst thing I did when I attempted this the first time was set a time frame. Weight loss is rarely ever linear and I gave up when I couldn’t get past the 160s. So I don’t give it a timeline I just stay consistent with my 1,400 no matter what.
Good luck!! You got this !

Thank you!
The biggest fuel was that I hated like HATED feeling tired whenever I tried to do anything. Getting out of bed, going upstairs, be a teacher to my students, I mean anything. And I also had gone through a health scare with my liver and I said, okay this is it, time for change. And here I am

This is a very good explanation but I wanted a literal answer. In the before photo it looks like you are building a rocket. What was the fuel?0 -

This is phenomenal. I am in a 6-week weight loss challenge at my gym (which is also my place of employment). I started at 219 and am down to 213 in one week. I think the calorie deficit thing makes sense to me. I did have a nice weekend with my husband and went to two restaurants where I made very specific food choices and diligently logged them. I was surprised how full I felt. Anyway your story gives me a lot of hope!0

Getting started is almost the hardest part. Seeing results is inspirational! I am a physicist so seeing rockets makes me happy. Nice job.1 -
