Ditch the green check-marked "Verified" entries
I just found out the hard way that the "verified" food entries aren't actually verified by any reliable source. One "verified" food I was logging was off by hundreds of calories. The information about these foods claim that they can be trusted. It would be better to eliminate them altogether instead of claiming they can be…

How do I stop MyFitnessPal from changing my calorie count every time I change goals or log weight?
I'm following a different calorie count than the one recommended by My Fitness Pal so I manually put it in. However, any time I log my weight or change my goals, the daily calorie count switches to the MFP recommended amount of calories. Is there a way to stop this from happening?

I've stalled. Not sure how to get going again.
I'm trying to lose 100 pounds. I lost 15 and have been stuck since Thanksgiving. I wasn't too serious over the holidays so figured I'd get going again in January. Since January, I've been good about keeping under my calorie goal but have crept up a few pounds. Any suggestions?

I was eating little enough that I thought I should have seen some success before now, but there was nothing.…

Do any of you have "free" foods that you don't add in your calorie count?
I'm thinking of compiling a list of food that is so low in calories and high in fiber that I will allow myself to eat as much of them as possible and not record them, like Weight Watchers' zero point food list. Has anyone else tried this? How did it work and what foods were on your list?

Need Help Moving Forward
I'm discouraged. I tracked my food pretty steadily for about 4 weeks. I felt hungry a lot in the evenings but I stuck with it. For a while I've fluctuated between 248 and 252. During the 4 weeks, I watched my weight creep from 252 to 248. I weighed last week hoping to finally see a number that was lower than 248. Instead,…

Self-assessment
As I get started I'd like to do some sort of fitness self-assessment. I can't afford a trainer or to get anything done professionally. Do you guys have any suggestions for free resources online that I can use to do a self-assessment for my fitness level?
