Ditch the green check-marked "Verified" entries

I just found out the hard way that the "verified" food entries aren't actually verified by any reliable source. One "verified" food I was logging was off by hundreds of calories. The information about these foods claim that they can be trusted. It would be better to eliminate them altogether instead of claiming they can be trusted.

We are so sorry to hear there is an incorrect check marked food in our system. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

Users should be able to report these incorrect or incomplete entries using our "Report Food" feature. To use this feature, please follow the steps below for each platform.

On on our iOS and Android apps:
Search for the item you wish to add > select the item >then on the Add Food page, scroll down to the bottom and tap Report Food. You will then be asked to submit feedback regarding this entry.

    On our Website:
Search for the item you wish to add > select the item > on the right, tap the Nutritional Info button > then under "Is this Data accurate?", select no. This feedback will then be sent to our team to further investigate.
