Net Carbs toggle on/off
I'm Type 2 diabetic. My dietician won't let me deduct fiber from carbs in a meal unless I eat 6 gms of fiber in that meal. Your "net carbs" measure is useless to me and may be harming Type 2 diabetics who haven't worked with a dietician to understand their numbers. I need to see my carbs by themselves. I would love to be…

Dissappearing meal categories
I can't find where to post this to get tech help. I've been using this for years and suddenly I only have Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. My additional Morning snack, Afternoon snack, and Evening snack have disappeared. I can reestablish ... but what changed to delete them? System glitch?

Galaxy Fit2
My Galaxy Fit2 isn't counting my steps correctly. Does anyone else have one? I'm wondering how to get it reset, or ?

Does anyone know exactly how the "net carbs" function works?
I have to eat 6 gms of fiber or more per meal to be allowed to count it against carbs eaten. Does MFP take this into consideration, or is it just at straight equation (carbs - fiber = net carbs)?

Sept 16 email received from Spark Guy

Diet tip

Type 2 and heat wave
Does anyone else have their bs # rise with the summer heat? We're in the third day of a heat wave and my numbers are horrible no matter what or how little I eat. Or am I just losing my mind?

There's a new article in The Guardian about chronic pain - "Sufferers of chronic pain have long been told it's all in their head we now know that's wrong." Sorry I don't know how to load a link.

Water intake vs retention
This week I decided to get serious about my water intake. I bought a Nalgene water bottle so I could see what I drank. This started Monday (4 days). I usually weigh in weekly on Tuesday. This week down one pound even though I ate whatever on Father's Day. I stepped on the scale today and down another pound. I'm wondering…

Another former Sparkperson
I'm not tracking food to lose weight, but to manage health issues. I began in 2013 to control Type2 diabetes. This year I've shifted to adjust for kidney health as my hi protein lo carb isn't helping my kidney function.
