Please explain whoosh to me
This is a new topic to me, what I have heard so far could help explain why I see erratic fits and starts with weight change when hitting calorie targets consistently. Am interested in if its an accepted thing or just another made up excuse.

Is breakfast really all that?
I'm already getting up at 6 am in order to get to work so I have trained myself out of breakfast as I like my sleep. As long as overall calories / macros etc. for the day are met, does it much matter that I don't generally eat on weekdays until lunchtime?

Which TDEE formula does MFP use? Checking out this site http://iifym.com/tdee-calculator/ I get a TDEEs of 2421/2638/2225 (using a body fat percentage from my Tanita scales) at a 1lb per week goal my calorie target is 2020, yet if the last TDEE is closer I should be targeting 1700. Calorie estimation sound OK or waaay high?
Im using a polar RS300X, I weigh in at about 110Kg (male, 5'10'') , when I do my treadmill workout - 8.8km in about 64 minutes typically, avg heart rate 154 or so it is estimating in the 950 - 1050 range. Does this seem reasonable?

Running and injury
I am a 36 yr old male 5' 10 weighing approx 16 stone. I run frequently, about 4 times a week on average for 50 mins a session at about 6 miles an hour. Running - what next
My stats - Male, 5' 10" 240 lb I am again comfortably making 5 miles in 50 minutes and am wondering how to progress. I go to the Gym ay lunchtimes so cannot increase duration. Would I be best adding a slight incline, increasing the speed, or doing intervals? My goal is fat loss.

I have no real idea what weight range I should be aiming for. I'm a 5' 10.5" male with (I think) a small frame. I'm currently at 240, what should I be working towards?

Calories by average heart rate
I use this site to calculate my exercise calories. http://www.triathlontrainingblog.com/calculators/calories-burned-calculator-based-on-average-heart-rate/ I get my average heart rate from my HRM. I get quite high calorie estimates - about 800 for 50 mins at an average of 153. Would this seem OK for a 109KG male?

what are weights sessions for when in deficit
Currently doing 5 gym sessions a week, and an outdoor run. Gym is 3 cardio and 2 strength. I am given to understand that muscle won't be built when in calorie deficit (I am set to lose 1.5 lbs a week), so what exactly are the weight sessions for?
