Im using a polar RS300X, I weigh in at about 110Kg (male, 5'10'') , when I do my treadmill workout - 8.8km in about 64 minutes typically, avg heart rate 154 or so it is estimating in the 950 - 1050 range. Does this seem reasonable?

That seems high for your heart rate average and mileage. Are your stats entered correctly into your hr monitor?

its set OK for gender/age/weight, but that's all. Nothing for max hr, resting hr VO2 max etc.0
