I have found an exercise pattern and calorie range I can stick to. Please could I get some feedback from the last couple of weeks of logging? Am I setting myself up for any issues?

Looks good. I do think you are missing your fruit and veggie servings each day. I saw at least some at each meal, but not always. No fruit at all, that I noticed. I can't see it, but from what I'm reading, I imagine your sodium is probably a bit high as well.

Added sodium to the tracking. Hadn't really considered that one, and should keep a weather eye on it - Thanks

Yeah I eat pretty much no fruit, I don't like most fruit, only apples, oranges, bananas and grapes. I do however like virtually all veg.

Well, it's not horrible atrocious, but I think you can do much better.

I see that you have veggies in there, but no fruit. You aren't logging any water either. I also noticed on the days you exercised and burned 800+ calories you didn't eat any of those back and netted well under 1200.

Because it is only 3 weeks in you haven't gotten bored yet, but I would try to throw in some different breakfasts. I'm not saying eggs are bad, (most people think they contain too much cholesterol) but having them the same everyday might get a bit boring.

I would try to add more fruits, dairy, nuts etc. drink your water, and if you are log it. Make sure you net at least 1200 good calories. I know it is easy to throw in some high calorie high fat food, but make it a good whole food and you should be good to go.

My husband works at a desk and is busy all the time. I know he never takes time to get up and eat a snack. I don't know if that is what you do, work right through meals and snacks, but make a point to eat smaller meals and snacks at shorter intervals.

    Best wishes.
  • To much sodium, you'll find this hard to change if you eat a lot of ready meals, cooking from fresh and using sea salt would be ideal

Not eating back your exercise calories

Add fruit, eat what fruit you do like daily

drink water and lots of it, you say your an office worker, buy one of the volvic 1.5l bottle of water, sit it on your desk and drink, refill from tap daily (assuming your countries water is drinkable)

Also glass of semi-skimmed milk or 100% pure orange juice helps eat up calories while being healthy and the orange counts as 1 a day :D

    Hope that helps x

I will plan to replace my mid afternoon bag of crisps with 2 fruit - from apples, bananas, orange/satsuma, grapes.

I do have a bottle of water on my desk which i refill, and I get through a bottle at the gym also, I just don't log non alcoholic drinks. If I ever buy pop it is always of the calorie free variety (I average less than a 330ml can a day). My main drink other than water is unsweetened tea with a splash of semi skimmed milk
