I have no real idea what weight range I should be aiming for. I'm a 5' 10.5" male with (I think) a small frame. I'm currently at 240, what should I be working towards?

According to a couple of different BMI charts your ideal weight is between 130 and 170 pounds.

As you doctor what is reasonable. BMI says I should be 132-178 (a 46 pound range). Doc says more likely 170-200 for me at this time. When I get closer to target, we will re-evaluate my ideal range.

I agree with asking your doctor, but I would say to just lose until you are happy~

I was fat when I was a kid, but lost a ton of weight when I was about 15. In 28 inch jeans and everything. Thing is, I still thought I was fat. The one thin period I have had in my life I missed! Basically, I don't trust my own perception of myself.
