Ladies 5'9 to 5'11, lets post clothing sizes
Lets post clothing sizes at various weights we've been, in order to see where we *might* be when we get to our goal weights. I know it will differ by body type, exercise, and all bodies are different, etc. I'm 5'10. 270: 18W or 20W. 2x shirt. 230: 18 220: 16 170: 12 (but this was in the 90's, so with vanity sizing, I might…

"You're tall. You don't want to get too skinny."
Have any other tall women been told that since you're tall, you shouldn't try for a lower weight? I'm 5'9, and I've been told that I "shouldn't lose too much weight" or should "stop at a size 12" and that I "shouldn't get too skinny" since I'm so tall. But I don't see what's wrong with wanting to be around 150 or size 6. I…

My appetite has gone down
I've only been back on MyFitnessPal for a bit over a week. I'm finding that even though I'm eating way less food, my appetite has gone way down. There are some days I can't even eat all my calories. I won't make that a habit. I'm glad I'm not hungry overly hungry or struggling, but for anyone who has experienced this…

I tested out Couch to 5k today...
Just to see what I could do. There are eight 60-second running intervals on Week 1 Day 1, and I made it through five of them before my chest started hurting, I couldn't breathe, and I had to walk the rest of the time. But you know what? I'm super proud of myself!!! I know I'll be able to run a little more each time. I was…

I had a bad week last week...
I ate badly for the first two days of last week, so I just decided to take a week off. I ate off plan and badly all week. I was going to avoid the scale for several weeks while I re-lost, but I owned up to what I did. I got on the scale and am up 3.2 pounds. You know what? I don't feel as bad about it as I thought I would.…

Ladies, sizing question
I'm 5'10, 204.8 pounds, and a size 14. Do you think going down to 180 will at least get me in a size 10? I know it's different for everyone, just would like some opinions. Thanks!

Going back to school and extremely excited about it
I went to college when I was 18. I didn't know what I was doing there, didn't know what I wanted to major in, and was depressed with several issues. My heart and mind just weren't in it. I ended up dropping out after about 2 years. Several, several years later, I'm going back. It just struck me about 3 weeks ago to go back…

Officially "Overweight" instead of "Obese" on BMI scale
On today's weigh in, I went from 208.8 to 207, which put me, at 5'10, at Overweight instead of Obese on the BMI scale. Never been so happy to be "overweight" in my life. Onederland, here I come!

Had a huge binge today...
I know tomorrow is a new day and I can start over, but I am disappointed in myself. It wasn't even special or super delicious food. It was mostly chocolate and junk. I easily ate 3 to 4,000 calories today. I haven't binged like this since last year. I know one day of eating like this won't make me re-fat. I also know I…

Any ladies here 5'10 and 160 to 180 pounds?
If so, what's your weight and clothing size? I'm 5'10 and want to be in this range. I'm 212.8 (started at 270), so starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel. I want to end up at either a size 8, 10, or 12.

What's your short-term weight loss goal?
Please ignore. I put this in the wrong forum.

Numb thumb
The thumb on my right hand has started to become numb on and off for the last week or so. No tingling, just numbness. And it looses feeling. It happens several times throughout the day. I'm going to call and make a doctor's appointment tomorrow. But in the meantime, has anyone dealt with this? It may just be carpal tunnel.

Does the scale go up with Couch to 5K?
Did anyone experience the scale going up with Couch to 5K? I know it would be temporary and water weight. I'm just curious.

Infrequent weighers, come in please
I weigh every day and rely too much on the scale. It can bring my mood up or down depending on what it says. I want to try weighing myself only on the 15th and the 30th in April, just to give myself a break from the ups and downs. For a while, I want to focus on living life without the burden of getting on the scale every…

Don't you love when you start feeling light?
You know that point in your weight loss journey when your body actually starts to feel lighter and more spry. It feels good.

Ladies who know a lot about bras, come in here
I've lost a little over 40 pounds, and my 42G bras are definitely too big. I ordered a bra in a 36DDD, but it's a little too small in the cup because my breasts spill over the top. I think i need to stick with a G cup, but go down to a 36 or 38 in the band. My question is, the cup sizes on a 36G is smaller than the cup…

Do you use a list when you grocery shop?
I think I need to start doing that, and only buy what's on the list, because I spend too much money.

I can't wait to get into "regular" sized clothing
I'm so sick of plus sizes. I'm pretty close to regular sizes. Anyone else know how I feel?

Any other slow losers on here?
I'm a slow loser. The weight is not coming off as fast for me as it has in the past, but I've got to accept that. Any other slow losers?

Zoloft and worried about weight gain
I have myself a pretty serious case of depression and social anxiety. I went to the doctor about it and was given Zoloft to take. I've lost about 40 pounds over the last 9 months. I've read that Zoloft can cause weight gain, and I'm terrified of that. Having the extra weight makes me feel depressed. Since losing, I have…

Runners...what weight did you start running?
I started out at 270 and am now at 244. I'm thinking I want to lose about 20 more pounds before I start running (well, jogging). I figure the less I weigh, the easier it will be on my joints. Plus I have a bad knee and want to put as little strain on it as possible. (I will see a doctor about my knee before I start…

NSV about Thanksgiving and weight
Despite eating more for a few days last week, I didn't gain any weight. I stayed the same!

Stretch marks
I know there's nothing much you can do to prevent them or make them look better. This thread is more about how you deal with them. My weight has gone up and down over the years, and I have them everywhere you can have them. About the only place I don't have them is on my stomach. I take that back, I have about one stretch…

Do you ever need a break from weight loss?
I need a break from losing weight. It gets to the point where I start to love exercise so much, I start to overdo it, instead of sticking to the alotted time for it I give myself for it every week. And I get tired of counting calories to the point where I get burnt out. I'm only going to take a break for about a week.…
