Blender/food processor question for smoothies
I have a magic bullet and a ninja food processor. I’ve used the bullet for smoothies but it doesn’t blend things well – there are always chunks and pieces, especially with foods like blueberries or spinach. I haven’t tried the ninja for smoothies yet, and am hearing GREAT things about the nutri-bullet, which I just bought.…

Favorite workout DVDs
What's your favorite workout DVD? I'm looking for something 30-40 minutes that gives an all-over workout, and I want to burn at least 300 calories doing it. Also, nothing with a lot of lunges/squats because it kills my knees. I love Jillian's DVDs, turbo jam, and a kettlebell cardio DVD that I do. Any other suggestions?

Need your help: Calorie intake – what’s the right number
I need some suggestions. I have been trying to lose weight and feel like I’m doing everything right, but the scale isn’t really moving. I’m 34 yrs old, 5’11â€, and currently weigh 184 lbs. I’ve lost 7 pounds so far. My goal is to get down to 170, (ultimately 155 but I can take that one more slowly), but I’d…

Question about zones on HRM
I have a Polar FT60 Heart Rate Monitor Watch. It tells me how much time I need to spend in zones 1-3 during the week. I always seem to easily burn in zone 3, and go over the amount I’m supposed to be there. Zone 1 is the hardest. My heart rate needs to be slower there, and honestly I don’t feel like I’m getting as good a…

Too much sugar
I’ve recently started really paying attention to my sugar intake, and it’s very hard to stay under the recommended amount for the day. Between yogurt, fruit, and my coffeemate, I’m over. Any suggestions? Should I not worry about it, or aim to keep it under a certain amount that’s higher than what I’m “supposed” to have?

Self-sabotage
I know I shouldn't eat chocolate, or at least not in the quantities in which I eat it! But every day it never fails; I wander to the candy dish, and once I start, that's it! Why do I do this to myself?? I feel awful, my clothes are tight - just love those welts in my stomach from the buttons on my too-tight pants! I know…
