HRM vs MFP calorie burn
I ran 10.15 miles today at a 9:30 pace. It took me 96 minutes. My Polar heart rate monitor showed I burned 720 calories. MFP doesn't have a 9:30 pace, so I chose the 10 minute mile pace (slower than I had run) and it said I burned 907 calories. That is a big difference to be off! I am going to rely on my HRM all the time.…

Trying to not get discouraged
Last week I put on a pair of pants and could tell that they were looser. Then Saturday and Sunday didn't eat well. Today I put the same pants on and had to take them off because they were too tight. I am trying to stay positive and not get down. I'm so tired of letting food control me. Why do I binge when it makes me so…

Xbox Your Shape Fitness Evolved
Has anyone tried the Xbox Kinect Your Shape? There is a 2011 and a new 2012 version. I was interested in getting it, but wondered what the workouts were like. I would love to hear others reviews/opinions. Thx!

Be under 1200 calories or eat after 9pm
I am just over 1000 for today. Would it be better to be under 1200 for the day since it is late (almost 9:30pm) or to go ahead and eat a snack to get closer the 1200 calories?? Usually it is no problem at all to get to 1200! Had a busy night and didn't eat much for dinner.

Squash
I got some butternut squash and spaghetti squash for the first time the other day. I have cooked both of them and am completely hooked. Good food and good for you. There are lots of recipes online, but I just cooked mine and added a little salt. The spaghetti squash is great in place of noodles or rice. If you haven't…

Bingeing no more!
For the last 2 years I have struggled with bingeing, which in turn caused me to gain weight and fat around my middle I have never had before and has had me feeling bad about myself, embarrassed and ashamed. Luckily, I've continued to exercise, or the results would be a lot worse! For too long I have been looking at food as…

21 Days Binge Free!
Each morning let's post being binge free from the day before (thinking positive! We can do this!). Also, post the challenges that you faced and how you were able to push through the temptation. Any ideas for dealing with bingeing would be great too. We can all use the help and ideas from each other. Let the challenge begin!

Sabataging my eating
Does anyone else have this problem??? I am afraid of eating too many calories each day, ( mostly because I'm trying to overcome binge eating, especially at night.). So, I eat healthy food but I'll eat a really light breakfast and lunch and try and have snacks around 175 calories. I also exercise quite a bit, so at night I…

Binge free challenge?
Just wondering if there is a binge free group on here anywhere. I would like to try and go 21 days (and then keep going!) without a binge. They say it takes 21 days to break a habit . I am tired of not having control over food.

Red Robin-So cool!
On Red Robin's website, they have the coolest nutritional info. They show you all the numbers for their food, but you can also go in and customize your food. Add cheese, subtract mayo etc. And then it will show you your changed version compared to the original. You can totally customize your meal before you go and know…
