I'm afraid to weigh myself. How about you?
I have been over eating lately and I'm afraid that I may have gained what I lost back. Do you find that weighing often helps you? I am thinking about taking a few months away from the scale and maybe, hopefully, be pleasantly surprised when I hop back on. What are your thoughts?

One jumping jack = 1 calorie burnt?
I read that doing one jumping jack burns about 1 calorie per jack. This seems like a lot for just one jumping jack, but I've checked a few different sites and they all say that that is the amount for one jack. Is this correct? It seems too good to be true.

Low BMR = this weight will take forever to lose, right?
I am 5'2 and I weigh 128.8 pounds. My BMR is about 1300 calories. If I am eating the minimum of 1200 calories, won't it take like a month to lose one pound?

How much of it is water weight?
I've been told that usually the first few pounds you lose are water weight. I have lost about 10 pounds (some before I joined this site). I want to know if most of it is water weight or not. I do not feel very different than I felt 10 pounds ago. Does anyone know? thanks :)
