Was this a woosh?
It was real- I normally have minimal craving for carbs. But night before last, I ate chocolate. Then yesterday- peanut butter banana sandwich, a sloppy joe, another banana, a big bowl of pasta and Alfredo sauce, and chips with French onion dip. I ate it all. And was still hungry. Well- I woke up this morning almost a full…

"Stomach Vacuum" exercise
I came across some interesting articles talking about an isometric exercise called the Stomach Vacuum. It's essentially expelling all of your air forcefully and sucking in your stomach to the max, which strengthens the Transversus abdominus, helping to keep it all in and tight looking. Here is an article:…

Incline walking
Does anyone walk on a steep incline for a workout on a regular basis. I've been going 3.5 MPH at 12-13% incline on the treadmill on my lunch break at work. Seems to really get the sweat going. I've read some interesting articles, too, such as this one. Just was wondering if anyone had firsthand experience and what the…

Gain weight when sick, maintaining exercise and deficit.
I am 5'1" and have lost 13 pounds (125) over the last 3 months. A few days ago, I started fighting a cold and have had a mild cold since. I stepped on the scale today and have gained 2 lbs and change. I haven't changed my eating habits and still have exercised each day, so I'm wondering if it's common to have water weight…

How do you get your vegetables?
We all know that you can eat a TON of vegetables for very little calories. I currently eat a ton of broccoli, zucchini, spinach and carrots. I sneak it into omlettes or make a low cal sauce or make zucchini noodles. I need some fresh, new ideas on how to get other veggies into my diet. Thanks everyone!

Eat back half of excercise calories?
I see a lot of people say that they do this. Is this different than using the Net Calories that MFP calculates? I eat about 1550 and workout about 350 to get to my 1200 goal. It is working for me, but I am curious if some are doing it differently.

Looking for some ideas on foods to prepare for her. 2. Right now, the painkillers are also killing her appetite. Any of you who have been on…

How to drink socially on the weekends?
With my family and group of friends, there is typically always drinking involved in our get togethers. We are having a labor day cookout at our house and I'd still like to take part, just not over do it. 1. What drinks are fairly low cal that can get a good feeling going? I'd prefer not to take shots. 2. How do you make…
