I just read that to the best macro ratio for a cut is 1g of protein for every lb of body weight. I'm 170 lbs. Do I really need that as a woman? I just want to lose fat. I have a good amount of muscle and don't need to bulk or anything

Starting whole30 June 1st.
I'm preparing to start the whole30 in June 1st. Looking for a buddy or two to keep me accountable. If one's BMR is 1500 - is it wise to eat a 1200 cal diet
I have been calculating my BMR to see why the last two weeks haven't been a bit more fruitful. I wasn't expecting a windfall of weight loss... but it would have been nice to see a down on the scale rather than an up. Is it possible to loose weight if you eat when you're hungry and stop when you're full? Or do I have to starve? Eat your exercise calories?
I'm a breastfeeding mom of a 6 month old and in the past, I have found that when I eat the calories set for me plus the extra 500/day plus my workout calories, I don't loose weight. I'm afraid though, that if I don't eat my workout calories, I will crash my metabolism. Any thoughts???
