Time for reverse diet?

I have been on a consistent 1775 calories per day for the last 100 days (some days higher some lower but that’s been my weekly average). I just completed a 12 week work out program that consisted of 5-6 days a week if 45 min circuit strength sessions followed by 30 minutes cardio.
I am otherwise fairly sedentary.
My tdee was calculating out to about 2053 do I expected to loose at least 6 lbs during this process. I in fact gained 1lb.

I’ve dieted off and on for the last 15 years, including some very extreme diets consisting f 500 calories a day but mostly cycled between 1200 calorie day’s and binges.

Could my failure to lose lbs despite obvious calorie deficit mean its time to reverse diet?

Let’s assume my calories are counted correctly by using a food scale and my thyroid is fine.

Help help help! I still have about 30% body fat and have about 20 lbs to lose

Did you take measurements? Maybe you gained muscle and lost fat?

How long ago has it been since the bolded? It boils down to unless you indeed need a metabolism reset (refeed/diet break), you are eating too much which is cutting into what you think your deficit should be to almost obsolete.

Also are you doing any cheat days, eating back exercise calories? Anything that may be contributing to cutting your deficit down?
