Protein, Fat & Carb Values
Hi All, I'm wondering if you have the values, (percentage of totals?) that I should be shooting for regarding protein, fat and carbs if I'm eating Paleo? For example, I saw one diet that said 20% fat, 20% protein, and 60% carbs, but I have a feeling that the Paleo values would be significantly different.

Needed: Paleo Friends
So, I'm new to Paleo - Only been working at it for 2 weeks (some days are more successful than others). I don't have any friends on MFP who are also living Paleo, and I would love some who I can chat with, help motivate each other, and critique my food diary. Everyone welcome! :)

What's the Difference??
Between Primal and Paleo? I did a Google search to discover, and couldn't really find anything on the topic. . . Admittedly ignorant. :)

Ladies Who Lift
I want to get into lifting, but I've not picked up a free weight in my life. I'm concerned about having proper form - I have back issues that I don't want to aggravate by doing things improperly. For those who lift - How did you get started? What did you do to perfect form? Any tips, pointers, warnings? Thanks!

Primal Fuel Powder
Has anyone tried the Primal Fuel protein powder? Is it good, as far as filling you up, and flavour wise? I've never tried a protein powder, and I'm curious about it.

Good exercises for lower body?
Hi All, I go to the gym regularly, and am very happy with my upper body, from natural waist (2" above belly button) up (I actually think my shoulders and ribs are looking a little bony.) I still have 15 pounds that I want to lose, but I'm wondering if there are any specific exercises that I could do to trim down my lower…

Pasta. . .
I was wondering if anyone knew whether the nutritional information on the pasta box is for dry or cooked pasta? I made a bunch last night, weighed prior to cooking, and weighed again after - It was significantly heavier, obviously. I've always assumed it was for the dried weight of pasta. . Please, correct me if I'm wrong.…

Calf Cramps & Sleepy Feet
I'm just starting to train for running, but I'm a total novice. I've been cycling between a speed walk and a jog, and my cardio is totally up to the task, but my calves keep cramping and my feet fall asleep. . What am I doing wrong? I imagine my form is pretty lame. . . .

What do you love about your body?
We're all working on improving ourselves, but I think it would be nice to focus on the areas that we love about ourselves. I like my collarbones, small rib area, little ankles, shoulder bones, small ears, pointy chin and eyes. And that smile my mom paid craploads to achieve. :)

Calorie Discrepancy
Hi Folks, I just used my new HRM today but I noticed a MASSIVE discrepancy between the calories it says I burned and the elliptical trainer at the gym. They synced immediately, so the elliptical was calculating on my actual HR. . . 60 minutes HRM said I burned 413, elliptical said I burned 575. . . What do you think is…

Sports Bras for Bigger Chests
Hello Ladies - I have a question for you larger chested women. I have a 30G bra size, and have been wearing the Enell Sports bras, which I quite like. However, I've recently discovered the Brendon Sport Extreme Out bra. Does anyone have one? Have you compared to Enell? Does it support well? I'm tempted to order the…

Unruly 5 year old destroying my good intentions. . .
Okay, so the title could be a bit of an exaggeration. . . I'm a single mom. I specifically attend a gym that has a daycare so that my daughter can be minded whilst I work on getting foxy. My issue is this. She doesn't want to go every day - I get it. I don't blame her, really. So, my question is this: Are there any decent…

Need a Workout Routine - Help!
Hey Folks - I'm attempting to create a workout routine for myself so it's easier to stay focused on my fitness goals. What I've compiled so far is the following: Monday: Warm up, lower body strength…

Fat Burning Heart Rate vs. Cardio Heart Rate
Hey all - I have a question. Wednesday I had my workout hijacked by a personal trainer who offered me a free session (It was good!) Normally, I would do 45 minutes on the elliptical, but I would go very hard-out - I'm 30 and weigh 165lbs. - And my heart rate would normally be in the 170 range, and I'd be doing an average…

Saboteurs!!!
Do you have people in your life who will sabotage your weight loss efforts? My ex husband will bring junk food into my house on a weekly basis, under the pretense that it is for our daughter. I've asked him not to several times, because SHE doesn't need it, and I certainly don't. He KNOWS I'm trying to lose weight, and he…

Unrecognizable?
Have you ever had people who have met you not recognize you? At my last job, I constantly had people coming in saying "I spoke with that bigger girl, but I don't think she works here any more". "No, actually, you spoke to me. . . . . "

Single Mom in Vancouver Area
Hi all - New my MFP, not new to living a life of watching what I eat and getting exercise - I've dropped ALMOST 100 pounds over the course of 2 years, but I still have a few to go. I'm fairly motivated / dedicated. I just want to prove it to myself. I'd love a few friends to share successes and challenges with. It would…

Horrendous Torture
My gym constantly has "The Food Network" on the big screen TVs. Personally, I can't think of anything more painful than working out whilst hungry, and watching other people getting to eat delicious food. . .
