Starting Again
Tomorrow is day 1. I first joined MFP in 2011, I've had a Fitbit for 4 years. I'm still fat. I'm conflicted about what to do this time. I've done isagenix, but as soon as I stopped the weight came back. I did paleo/keto in the summer, but as soon as I stopped all the weight came back. Back to basics. Eat less, move more.…

Mirena and weight loss/gain
Hi folks, I've been at it for quite some time, but came to the realization today that my weightloss stalled when I got the Mirena IUD put in. Anyone else?

Night shift workers-
When you are so busy, and you need to sleep, how do you log in? How do you cope with the post night shift carb loading craze? It's so irritating and frustrating to be sabotaging myself with my night shifts.

How do you get your cals when you're working nights?
After a year of straight days, I'm back to working nights. Yesterday I was 300 beklow my goal, and today I have almost 1000 cals to get in in the next 2 hours. It's not going to happen. I am planning what I eat in the day but I can't eat if I'm sleeping all day. Any other shift workers out there?

Starving the day after lifting
I've been EMTWL for over 8 weeks and I'm doing NROL4W and some cardio as well (15-20 min alternating HIiT or random program for warm up and on one of my "rest" days). I upped my weight my last 2 sessions and I am starving the day after. I ate a tonne of protein the last time (Saturday) and I prepped for tomorrow with more…

How long until you noticed consistent weight loss?
Hi Folks, I'm been EMTWL for 3 and a half weeks (2200-2800) My 20% cut is 2800 cals (5'10, 268 lbs moderately active exercise 5-6/7 days a week) I have started NROL4W and my clothes are definately fitting better, but no change in inches or weight. I've been playing with the same 3-5 lbs for more than a month. Do I just…

Do you change your TDEE cut daily?
I am getting a cold, and was way less active than usual today. And I am not working out, I am resting and pushing fluids. Should I recalculate my TDEE to reflect days when I am significantly less active than usual? FWIW I am still rebuilding my metablosim. I am loosing the same pound over and over...I know it will get…

Does this make sense?
BMR=1889 TDEE 1889 x 1,75=3305(very active) minus 15% is 2809 I'm sorry to bombard the board, but the thought of eating 2800 cals scares the heck out of me! I'm 5'10, 268, and very active. How do you eat this much?! Thank you so much for all of your wonderful thoughts and advice to each other. It's just mind bending.

Net Calories
I am sure this must be discussed some where, and if there is a link I'd love to follow it, but I have a question about Net calories. In general I do not eat my exercise calories. I eat healthy nutritional food and stick to my daily allotment of calories. This leave my net between 700-900 calories in general. Is this too…

First NSV
I am a Registered Nurse and I work 12 hour shifts. There are an abudance of treats available all the time. Because of MFP and writing down everything I chose not to eat the crap at work. I had a hell of a day and because of MFP I did not binge eat when I got home. I logged my calories, and ate a couple clementines. Just…

A fresh start
So, this is not the first calorie counter website I have used, but I hope it's the last. While I am no longer at my highest weight, I am so tired of feeling like this. I am a nurse, and find many challenges with 2 young children (3 and a half and 21 months) a busy husband and keeping up with everything. I was exercising…
