I can't seem to find an answer to this (though admittedly, haven't looked too hard  Anyone know how many calories this burns per hour? I've taken it up on weekends and want to log it. Thanks!

What's the general feeling of running inaugural races
There's a good looking 10 miler in the San Diego area (www.cal1020.com). 10 miles, 20 bands along the coast. But it's an inaugural race put on by a company i'm not familiar with. I've seen quite a few of these types of things get cancelled and people lose their registration fees, so am hesitant about signing up. But that…

Calories burned jogging 11 minute miles
Hi everyone - I used the MFP database to log my exercise, and there's no option for running/jogging an 11 minute mile. It goes from 10 minutes to 11.5 minutes. I've searched a few databases and they all have the same thing. Does anyone have a link to a database or calculator to calculate calories burned for 11 minute…

What is it about restaurant food and sodiium?
I have an egg white omelette with tomato, basil, spinach and feta cheese with a side of fruit. It's a lovely 350 calories with 11 grams of fat. What the heck do they do to it to get the sodium count up to over 1000mgs??? If I made that at home, it would probably have 200 due to the feta cheese. Ugh!

Running calorie burned calculator?
Does anyone have a link to a calculator for calories burned for running? MFP lists an 11 minute mile and a 10 minute mile, but I run a 10.5 minute one. Thanks!

What was for dinner? I had breakfast
Skinny eggs (1 part egg, 2 part egg whites) with bell pepper, tomato and onions, slice of whole grain toast (dry) and two yummy juicy pieces of thick cut bacon (a girl's gotta have some fun!) 350 calories, 22 grams of carbs and 26 grams of protein. What did you have?

I could feel it coming on and tried to run it off. Big mistake. Now I can barely walk on it. Any tips for a speedy recovery? I'm training for a 1/2 marathon and don't want to fall too far behind. Nice way to start out my 47th birthday, don't ya think? My husband couldn't help but throw out old jokes this morning!

How would you log 6 hours at an amusement park
The park was pretty empty and we walked on to most of the rides (thus very little standing in line). I was thinking 3 hours at a 2MPH pace. Sound about right?

Can anyone suggest some sodium rich foods?
I know it's a strange request, but i need to add sodium to my diet. I try to avoid processed foods, so looking for things that are naturally high in salt? Short of pouring some salt on my hand and licking it off. Or tequila shooters

Dumb question
When measuring out pasta per serving, do you measure dry or cooked? Thanks everyone! :flowerforyou:

Do you guys log cooking and cleaning for your exercise?
I've never thought of doing that, but just now noticed that they're options on the exercise log. Wondering if you think those things really count towards exercise?

I'm not buying the daily totals
Today, being Friday, I ate 1724 calories. I know I need 1800 to maintain my weight without exercise. Well when I end the day, it says i'd be almost a pound over what i weigh now if I kept this up for 5 weeks (most of my days are around 1200 calories). How can I eat 75 calories a day less and weigh more?
