Anyone else doing Atkins or Low Carb?
Just curious...I've done many "diets" and Low Carb is what works for Me. I've had great success in the past and am Ready to lose again since I broke My ankle a few years ago and put on weight after I was stuck at home and couldn't walk for almost 6 months....

I'm a big reader. Just finished the "Left Behind" series last week and it was great. I'm currently/patiently waiting for the next books in the "Fallen" series by Lauren Kate and the "Sookie Stackhouse" series by Charlaine Harris. Has anyone read "Quest for the nailprints"?

For the Low Carber's Sweet Tooth....
So....One of My favorite Sweet Treats is taking a can of Diet Root Beer, pouring it over ice and adding a tablespoon of Heavy Whipping Cream, stir it up and chug a lug....tastes just like a root beer float. Well last night I did this with Diet Sunkist....WOW! It tasted just like an orange cream cicle. :love:

I feel fatter after.....
After I work out, (walk, aerobics etc....) I feel like I'm heavier/thicker...is this normal....? Also at bedtime I feel like I've gained weight....Even though in the mornings I'm "normal" again....Weird! Just wondering if I'm the only one who experiences this?!

In what order do You lose???
I lose in my face, back, and of course my boobs first....Of course my Butt, legs and stomach havent budged at all yet...I guess in due time they will...Maybe when my boobs are completely deflated?! LOL

Dumb Question?!?! Salad Dressing....
OK I have a Question! So when I finished eating My salad this evening I noticed all the leftover salad dressing in the bowl (around the edges etc..) so I took a rubber spatula and scraped it all together, then measured it and it was a whole teaspoon..I took it off of my Salad Dressing count...Do you think that is ok???? Anxiety over the S-C-A-L-E....
Day 5 of Atkins Induction for Me....My plan is to step on the scale Sunday. This I must say makes me anxious. In the past I've gotten so discouraged if it didnt move and instantly wanted to give up....Although I WILL NOT give up no matter what this time, I'm still nervous...Is this "normal" ?

So proud of Myself! Baby steps but.....
So I began My new lifestyle (Atkins Induction) on Monday and today I exercised for the first time in years. I did 30 minutes of low impact aerobics, although I thought it was gonna kill me half way through I MADE IT! Man am I out of shape...Guess I'll keep on keepin' on :tongue:

Are you Rewarding Yourself?
I think I'm going to Reward Myself at certain "Milestones"....10lbs, 20lbs etc.... Do any of you do that? If so what kind of rewards are you using to keep you motivated? I know when I hit my Goal I'm taking a trip...But in between I'm not sure....

I'm taking a Centrum, Fish oil, Super B complex and Calcium....I hope that's sufficient....

Ready to do this...My start date is 04/04/2011...Basically sick and tired of being TIRED... I dont do well with carbs therefore I will be following the Atkins/Induction phase for a while. I've had success in the past and will this time too. Hope to help encourage everyone and meet new friends. :)
