Sodium Intake...
I have been doing the 21 day challenge: no sweets (candy), no cake, no white bread, no chips, no fast food, no ice cream. This is day 21. I tried to quit pop also, but it popped up here and there. I still drank significantly less pop. But I weighed in at the beginning. Weighed in again at the half way point. And weighed in…

4 WEEKS
Every day this week, I've been waking up and telling myself I've got to get to that 4 week mark of counting my calories and sticking to healthier choices. I've read and read about how important those strict 4 weeks are to make the lifestyle change. 4 weeks. 4 weeks is what it takes to get over that hump. The dreaded…

Salty over Sweets
I've always been the type to dive into a bag of salty potato chips over a candybar... anyday. But I really need to lower my sodium intake. The only pop (although I'm really trying to cut out pop altogher) I drink is Diet Coke, which is really pretty low. My question is, what are some better alternatives to the salty…

Biotin
I read that taking Biotin would help with my skin, hair, and finger nails. I also read that it helps you metabolize fats. I know I should go to my doctor, but being a vitamin I figured it wouldn't hurt to try. Have you used it? Is it worth it? Did you experience side effects?

I absolutely HATE dieting/exercise...
Am I the only person who constantly feels like this is a punishment? The feeling that I've lost that freedom to eat my beloved fried cheese balls and ranch, or a nice steak? I leave work every day and go work out. Yes, I've just started like a little over a week ago, working out again. I have heard the "you'll feel…

<<HELP>>
I am a female, clearly, I have purchased many a shoe in my lifetime but for some reason I cannot for the life of me find a comfortable workout shoe. I wear ballet flats or flip flops most days, but when I go to work out (dance aerobics mostly) my feet cramp up so bad! So I thought it was the transition from my day flats,…

Miracle Noodles...
My bf has made these a couple times for me. And I like them well enough for my pasta fix. But are they worth it? Thoughts? http://www.miraclenoodle.com/default3.aspx

Sort of confused...
I'm new to the site! And not really well versed in blogs and message boards and such, please forgive me! This is my 2nd attempt in the last year to change my eating habits/ fitness habits for the better. In October of 2011, I changed how I ate. Only eating non-processed foods, or basically sticking to my fruits, veggies,…

It's been many years since my P.E. classes, but I'm going to try the 100 Push Up Challenge. Has anyone heard of this and successfully completed it?
