Thyroid help PLEASE (a little long)
For YEARS now I have been complaining to doctors of the same symptoms: fatigue, dry skin, hair loss, brittle nails, weight gain, extreme difficulty losing weight (I've been at a standstill since May), brain fog, and poor memory. I know that something is not right, yet doctors just dismiss my complaints. A few doctors…

How do I move past hurdle in training my body to run??
Months back I started the Couch to 5K Program and got half way through week 3 when I sprained my ankle. I took a little time off to heal and then started again at week 2. I completed week 2 and week 3 (twice) but ended up having surgery that required me not to exercise for 6 weeks. Today I did day 2 of week 3, but I still…

I found the best healthy bread yesterday! For a long time I have been getting Nature's Own Double Fiber, but I decided to try something new. This time I got Pepperidge Farm Whole Grain Oatmeal bread and it's so good!! It's super fluffy and moist and has 22 grams of whole grain, 4 grams of protein, and 4 grams of fiber per…

How many inches do you typically lose?
How many inches do you typically lose in a month? I lost 5 inches total this month and I'm wondering if that is low (it seems low to me). Also, how come I only lose 1/2" off my waist but 1.25" off my chest and 1" off my bust!?!? I don't have much there to spare!

Question about greek yogurt...
I finally found some Greek yogurt that I'm always hearing about and decided to give it a try. I got Oikos vanilla (it was all I could find) and I did not like it at all!!! It was tart and bland, and basically tasted like I was eating a spoonful of sour cream. Is this how it is supposed to taste??

Cream of Asparagus Soup (without cream!)
This is super easy and REALLY good. The nutrition info is based on using only 1/2 of the soy sauce, but next time I will completely omit the soy sauce to reduce the sodium. You can also use low sodium broth and bouillon cubes. Cream of Asparagus Soup (without the cream) 1 onion, chopped 3 stalks celery, chopped 1/4 cup…

Anyone take b12 with lipotropic?
For a couple weeks now I have been giving myself shots of B12 with lipotropics 1-2 times a week. I have noticed that it is much easier for me to get out of bed, and I don't feel as drained throughout the day. Has anyone else had any experience with these?

10 lbs lost in 2 weeks! A little about me as well....
Today is day 14 and I am 10 lbs down!!! I know most of the loss if from water weight, but it is still nice to see the number on the scale go down. I started MFP around February of 2008. I lost 7 lbs the first week, then only 3 lbs for the following 3-4 months. Out of frustration I gave up. As a result, I not only gained…

There is someone I would like to thank, but I don't know who
In a posting a week or two ago (I don't know what the posting was), someone mentioned that their friend (I think) had them hold weights out in front of them to give them perspective on how much weight they had actually lost. This has helped me TREMENDOUSLY!!! Now every time I think down on myself about how I've only lost a…

Does anyone do a calorie range??
Last time I used MFP I had my calories set at 1200/day + exercise calories. I tried to be exact as possible and often went to bed so hungry that I had to take a sleeping aide to go to sleep. Other times I would go over my calories because I would wake up hungry and still half-asleep I would get something to eat not making…
