  • I make my own and it is fantastic! Here is the recipe: 1/2 cup red wine vinegar 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil 1 tsp mustard powder 1-1/4 teaspoons garlic powder 1-1/4 teaspoons dried oregano 1-1/4 teaspoons dried basil 1 teaspoon pepper 1 teaspoon salt (I use kosher) 1 teaspoon onion powder Mix vinegar, mustard, garlic…
  • Every morning I mix1 tsp sugar (dissolved in a little hot water), 1 packet Starbucks Columbia VIA, and 8 oz of milk with some ice. If you like iced lattes this is awesome and runs about 100 calories. You can also use sugar free syrups instead of the sugar. I used to drink coffee with creamer, but I like this much better.…
  • This is straight out of the book "Weight Training For Life" by James Hesson (I just took a weight training class at my university): "Although weight training exercise is the stimulus, the positive changes in the muscular system as a result of weight training take place between exercise sessions as your body rebuilds and…

  • If you are new to exercise than the Wii fit may be beneficial to you, but for me it was BORING. After every exercise you perform you have to click "ok" a gazillion times. I did not find it to be a challenging workout at all, but I have been exercising for quite some time.
  • Well there's not really questionable fertility in my family, we have just chosen not to have kids yet. The doctor didn't seem concerned about my fertility, but more so about my life choices. However, I'm am going to get tested for PCOS on the 14th so we'll see what comes about with that. How do you manage PCOS?
  • Thanks I will definitely look into that!
  • I don't think the doctor would have given me a referral because he thinks that there is nothing to see a specialist about. As for changing primary care doctor (PCD) I'm not sure that it is worth the fight to do so. This is my 3rd PCD in the past year. I LOVED my first one but he left. The second one was absolutely…
  • I am so sorry that you are having to deal with this. (((HUGS))) Good for you for standing up for yourself and kicking your husband out. NO ONE deserves to be cheated on, NO ONE. It's going to be hard, but you only have two options: lie on the floor or get back up. Find a positive way to deal with your emotions so you can…

  • I never really liked hummus until I tried Sabra Roasted Red Pepper Hummus, IMO it is the BEST. Also, I only really like hummus with yellow, orange, and red pepper slices. The combination of the two just make it taste delicious!

  • I'm a huge sugar addict and I always crave sweets after a meal. I have noticed, however, that if I eat whole foods without anything processed, I do not crave the sugar.
  • Someone posted a recipe on here a few months back that was really good. I don't remember it exactly, but basically you rinse and dry them, coat them in a little olive oil or cooking spray, and season with whatever you like ( I think the recipe used lawry's and cayenne pepper, but I like using the ranch dip powder). You…
  • I grew up in Eagle River and never valued the mountains until I moved to GA a year ago :( There is NO mountains what-so-ever here and I have been wanting to go hiking BAD.
  • Yea, but this bread is much more satisfying. It does have more calories, but it tastes so much better and also has no trans fats or HFCS.
  • I got a $350 treadmill from Walmart three years ago and it still works great. I use it at least 3 days a week so I feel that I have definitely got my money's worth!
  • No, I'll have to look out for that!
  • Aww, thanks...but no need to look up to me! I started this weight loss on Feb 17th, but didn't join MFP again until March. I actually did MFP from Jan-April of last year and only lost 10 lbs before giving up. That did me a lot of good... I gained back the 10lbs and 10 more! Now I am exactly where I was this time last year!…

  • I can't see why you were even questioning wearing a bikini?!?! You look AMAZING!!! Where are these trouble spots you speak of???
  • That is amazing!! I am SOOO proud of you!!!
  • Well, my 3 cups equaled a little less than I pound (I measure everything on my Eatsmart scale). I think it really depends on how you cut them.
  • Approx. 145 calories
  • Is is bad that I just ate 3 cups of sliced strawberries??? I LOVE LOVE LOVE them, but am EXTREMELY picky about the ones I'll eat. They have to be perfect, and it's only during this time of year that I can find ones I'll eat!
  • How many inches do you typically lose in a month? I lost 5 inches total this month and I'm wondering if that is low (it seems low to me). Also, how come I only lose 1/2" off my waist but 1.25" off my chest and 1" off my bust!?!? I don't have much there to spare!
