Chick Pea Recipes?

I love them in salads....some lettuce, green pepper, cucumber, cherry tomatoes and some chic peas tossed with some light italian or ranch dressing, yum. I could also just eat them in a bowl with some italian or ranch.
Or you could make the obvious....hummus. I don't have a recipi off hand, but it's mostly chic peas, tahini and garlic I believe.0 -
Make a dip similar to hummus!! There are a ton of recipes on the internet for those.:happy:0

Someone posted a recipe on here a few months back that was really good. I don't remember it exactly, but basically you rinse and dry them, coat them in a little olive oil or cooking spray, and season with whatever you like ( I think the recipe used lawry's and cayenne pepper, but I like using the ranch dip powder). You then bake them around 400 deg until they are brown and crispy. YUM.0
