Using hand weights = lifting??
Might be a stupid question, but would using hand weights (dumbbells) instead of a barbell/machines work for "lifting"? All these posts about lifting success has me wanting to try it but currently only have access to dumbbells.

Is there such a thing as too many nuts?
I've cut down on carbs (no bread, rice, sweets etc.) but have been eating fruits and nuts. Lots of nuts to combat the snacking and hunger. Would this be why I'm not seeing any improvement in my belly and hip area? I do 30 day shred 5x/week and zumba 4x/week.

Bodymedia Core AND hrm watch??
Might be a silly question, but can I wear them both at the same time? The Core doesn't show me the calories instantly while working out (unlike the Link). With my HRM watch, I can see it (instant gratification !)

Your lowest cal snack that satisfies you??
I like ak mak's if I'm not cutting carbs. (115 for 5 pieces) OR I have been eating low cal/fat cheddar cheese sticks at 70 per between meals if I start to feel hungry. I'd love to get more ideas. I do love nuts but they can add up quickly!

I've changed my eating habits, watched my calories, exercised every day (30DS) and Zumba every 2-3 days. It's been 20 days and I don't see any difference. Not in the scale and especially in pictures.
