My goals are currently set at 1.5 pounds a week, and I have effectively lost about 1.75 pounds per week. I am generally a few thousand calories a week under goal. I just acquired a Vitamix blender with the intention of obtaining most of my vitamin needs from fresh produce smoothies. The idea is the use vegetables as much as possible because of their low calorie content, with fruit to provide sweetness and flavor for palatability. Any ideas?

Why should I avoid sodium?
I don't have high blood pressure. The scale weight doesn't mean that much to me, it's fat loss I care about. Is there a reason I should stress out about sodium?

I never eat back my exercise calories because I want to lose weight faster. Anyone who actually wants to benefit from exercise by keeping or increasing their muscle mass is an idiot. The only goal, and I do mean the only goal is to watch that scale go down. Do it by any means necessary. What do you think?
