Tacos with Romaine Shells
I know a lot of people already know about this, but it never occurred to me, so I thought I would post. The other night we had tacos. I made all the ingredients as I normally do (ground beef, shredded cheese, chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, salsa, sour cream, guac), but then instead of taco shells, we used romaine…

Ham and Kohlrabi Gratin
I make this recipe with some changes. More cheese, more ham, heavy cream instead of lowfat milk, and almond flour instead of bread crumbs. You don't need the flour at all when using heavy cream. It thickens on its own when you add the cheese. Also, instead of slices, I cut the ham and kohlrabi in cubes (about 0.5 inch…

Chocolate Heaven Cake
I'm making this recipe right now: Chocolate Heaven Cake If the taste of the batter is any indication, it's going to be freakin' delicious. Hubby and baby even liked them. Cauliflower pizza crust- meh. I'd rather just eat the toppings off a real pizza. Eggplant wrappers for…

It's the little things... (NSV)
I took a flight yesterday, and for the first time in years, when I put the tray table down, it went all the way down flat. I didn't have to hold on to my drink to keep in from sliding off. SW 307 CW 263 GW 175 Funny how it took 44 lbs down for me to realize I'm not just trying to do this, I'm doing it!

Okami Brown Rice Sushi Fusion (from CostCo)
Is anyone else addicted to the Okami Brown Rice Sushi Fusion (from CostCo)? The wasabi makes me feel completely full after only a few pieces. It's been a great lunch to take to work. 4 pieces are only 120 calories. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/calories/okami-brown-rice-sushi-fusion-15832608
