Strength training/weights website?
I have been diagnosed with Osteopenia and my doctors have told me I need to start strength training. I currently use the recumbent bike and walk but now that the weather is better I plan on running again. Last summer I was up to running 3 miles a day, 3 times a week (so you have an idea of my fitness level) then I had…

Logging recumbent bike interval training
Maybe I'm just not searching right, but I can't find how to log my workouts. Since it has been cold I haven't been running outside. Today I jumped on my husband's recumbent bike and did a resistance training for 25 minutes. Is this anywhere in the database? I found the stationary bike workouts, but not interval training.…

Have ham bone, need pea soup recipe!
We hosted a brunch yesterday and served a spiral ham. I did well and planned a pretty healthy menu and even gave away a lot of the leftovers so they aren't in my fridge tempting me! Anyway, I kept the ham bone so I can make pea soup. Anybody have a good recipe? Thanks!

I starting watching what I eat and eating a more "clean" diet at the beginning of the year, and with just doing that, lost about 8-10 lbs in a few months. I then started running (c25k), a few weeks later joined mfp and have not lost one pound since! I'm 5.2 and 130lbs...I would like to get to 125, I would love to get to…

looking for healthy dessert...
I'm in charge of bringing dessert to a party this evening. There will be both kids and adults. I'm looking for something besides the standard strawberries, angel food cake and whipped cream. It can't have artificial sweetners but I would love lots of fruit... Any suggestions? Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Food Diary

Hi! I truly think that that a food journal is key to weight loss and that is why I joined this site! I have two girls and want to get and stay in shape for them and me! Being an active mom is very important to me and I don't want my girls to have any weight complexes. The words "fat" and "skinny" are both banned in this…

I'm finishing up w7 tomorrow and signed up for a 5k on 6/6. Anyone else doing the program? How far along are you? I already have my sights set on starting the One Hour Runner program after I complete c25k and maybe adding the 100 push up challenge... Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Calorie Counter
