When I run for an hour + my whole body is sore basically for the whole day afterward. It's not my joints, it's muscle soreness, and everywhere, shoulders on down. Is this just part of the deal? Is there anything I can do to prevent it?

final week of C210K
That means a one hour run, no breaks, starting tomorrow morning. At this point it's psychological. Last week was supposed to be 2 22 minute runs with a 1 minute walk between them, but I ran straight through, 45 minutes, no problem. But man, a whole hour! Kind of freaking out over that idea...

question about MFP
Why doesn't strength training "count" as far as MFP is concerned? If I go for a walk, I get credited with 100 extra calories. But when I do body weight exercises or lift weights - when I'm huffing and puffing, believe me - MFP doesn't give any "credit" for it. Why is that?
