Help me with portion control/an appetite reset!
What do you do about appetite? I know this sounds totally ridiculous, but my appetite is so maladjusted that even with eating bags and bags of green beans, spinach, cauliflower, etc. it’s really hard to not end up eating 4,000 calories a day! I’m very active, but definitely not active enough to lose weight with that…

Raspberry Ketones?
I gained weight with the start of the semester so I was almost as heavy as my heaviest last summer. I decided to try Raspberry Ketones and have ballooned up in weight - six pounds (I know it doesn't sound like super much, but in one week! And it's not like I've been pigging out!). Has this happened to anyone else? Do I…

How to log walking in place?
There's already an option for jogging in place, but none for walking in place - so how do I log that? And I don't mean pacing around a room, but literally walking in place (like while I work at my computer). Thanks so much!

Standing vs. Fishing for calorie burn
I was on my feet for several hours today and logged it as 'fishing, standing' because I figured that's basically just standing there. But that said a burn of around 800 calories, which seems pretty high. Is it really that much for standing? I mean, that would be AWESOME as that would bring my big ugly red overeating bar…

Binging a lot, overeating daily
I binge a lot and overeat my calories (eating around 3000 calories) every day. What to do????? I'm pretty good during the day usually, but once the evening rolls around, all bets are off :/ None of my MFP friends understand and they just tell me that I don't want this enough, but I DO and I hate myself for doing it!!!

Which is better?
Is it better to eat about the same amount of calories everyday (but have it be a higher amount than you'd like) or have some days of reaching the MFP/TDEE goal and therefore have a couple binge days per week, where your calories are way out of control (like 2,000 to 3,000 over). I used to be the latter, but the last week…

5:2 - Good AND bad!
I'm thinking about starting 5:2 IF late next week, after my surgery/recovery from surgery and would love to hear from folks who've tried it, with both positive AND negative stories. I don't just want to hear 'oh, it's great, do it!' I want to hear what's tough and any tips/advice to stick to it! What really appeals to me…

Eating less vs. exercising more
So I was really hungry today and ate WAY too much (1800 over), but I also was really active today - if my exercise calories end up being high enough to cancel the excess food calories is that as good as if I hadn't exercised and had stuck to my food calorie goal? I have a feeling that it's not (because I ate way too much)…

Non-food hobbies
What do you do to relax that isn't eating? I realized that's what I was going (uh-oh)! I have plenty of 'busy' hobbies already (like volunteering, exercise, crafting, etc.) so please tell me something that provides that same kind of by-yourself relaxation/peace/lazy comfort. Thanks!

Juice Cleanse?
Has anyone done a short (read: 1 - 3 days) juice cleanse? Thoughts? Did it help reset cravings, reduce bloat, get appetite in check, etc.?

American Expats?
Are there any female (I'm a girl, so other girls are more helpful) American Expats with open diaries out there? If so, please friend me! I want to move abroad at some point, at least for a few years, and I think it's fun to see what people in other parts of the world eat!

Whole can of beans everyday? 1/2 to whole squash?
Is it okay to eat a whole can of beans everyday? I vary the type (black, roman, pinto, kidney, lentil, garbanzo, etc.) and I don't have digestive issues. Eating a whole can of beans is what helps fill me up and keep me satisfied (along with a whole lot of kabocha squash - like 1/2 to a whole squash a day). I really enjoy…

Nightly binge?
I eat okay during the day (what I've always been eating and either just around goal or 200/300 over) but then at night I eat 1,100+ calories! It's been this way for a month and some of it is sweet stuff, but it's also nuts and whole grains and all this healthy food. How can I stop this, I've gained twelve pounds and they…
