Hi! I’m in a similar place - I’ve been on here for almost four years, but haven’t been able to lose and keep off weight. My goal is losing thirty pounds, but whenever I’ve managed to lose a few pounds here or there I eat them right back on and then some. I eat a lot of healthy foods, but I eat WAY too much of them - I get…

Me too! I have the activity more or less down, but definitely need more accountability to kick this 20-25 lb!
-
Add me! I have 20-27 pounds to lose and I really need to get accountable. We can buckle down and do this!
-
And be slim enough to eat all that I want on vacation and not feel guilty about it/worry about a little holiday weight gain :)
-
Yup - Bahamas this Christmas and Disney the one after. Want to look good!

Poptarts, McFlurries, processed store english muffins

Exactly - no need to run when you hate it (I don't get when people say they enjoy it) or pay a ton of money for a gym membership, when dancing counts as exercise!

I don't think so. I'm dating a cheater (not on me) but I don't hesitate for a minute to think that he'd cheat on me. Done it once, he'll do it again - it's a moral code thing. I think it's the stupidest thing when women who a guy cheated on his wife with think that once the two of them marry, he won't cheat on her too.
-
I think that sounds more reasonable than once a week and more likely to last in the long term. Good for you!

Being shocked by the calories in something after I'm done eating has happened to me, but there's no use crying over spilled milk (or eaten food). Just don't order it again next time, now that you know better. And maybe try to check nutritional stats ahead of time, whenever you can.

Then you don't need it! It really depends on the shape of your hips and the only way that I can think of to widen your hips is childbirth...but don't go getting pregnant just to change your bonestructure!
-
Doing it long term is bad for your teeth (fact) because the super acidic vinegar erodes your enamel. Depending on your sensitivity and how much of it you drink/how concentrated, it can also damage your esophagus and lead to acid reflux (heartburn).

I would start with a big bowl of greek yogurt, with loads of trail mix (nuts, dried fruits) and granola and berries/chopped apple and nut butter. Then I'd have a soynut butter and honey sandwich on Thomas whole wheat english muffins (maybe two and maybe with dark chocolate chopped on top). Then a full, ripe banana with…

I love breakkie at any time of the day!

YEAAAAAAAAAAH.

Lord no. Italians are definitely white. Just like Germans, the Dutch, Icelanders, the Polish *insert caucasian European race here*
-
Agreed, when I eat less I'm too tired to even peel myself out of bed, much less work out.
-
I'm the same way - haven't been under 2000 in a while, often eating upwards of 1100 calories at night :( Since you're nursing AND active, though, I definitely agree with everyone else that you should check with a medical professional, since you might actually need those calories!
-
Probably not the case if you're medically overweight and need to lose. But if you're at a healthy weight and count calories consistently over time...yes.

Mine is closed because I like to keep private notes and I don't get any benefit from having it open (I had it open briefly the first time I was on MFP and it did nothing for me, I didn't enjoy it).
-
Ditto, my net goal is 1800. Netting 1200 is just ridic!
-
Because 1200 calories is way too little for most people - you're starving, so your hair is falling out!
-
It sounds like you're exercising plenty (but mix up the cardio with strength training). If you're eating that little, I hope you're eating back exercise cals! And taking at least one rest day a week.

Yeah, Walden Farms is definitely not clean .It's sad, because the no calorie thing would be awesome if they weren't packed full of unhealthy chemicals. They could be worse than McDonald's? Who knows, but certainly no good :(
-
I can't function on under 1800 - any of you can feel free to add me! I'd love some friends that actually eat enough :)
-
I can't function on under 1800 calories and it's really hard for me to eat under 2000 without feeling sick and grumpy and awful. I'm definitely bumping this post!

Cut/reduce things that I don't care for so much - it's a lifestyle, it shouldn't be unpleasant. If alcohol gives you joy (and you're not an alcoholic lol) than enjoy it! But maybe you don't care as much for another slice of pizza or the sour cream on your baked potato. Do what works for YOU!

Your BMI is 22, you're in great shape! That's pretty ideal :) And bodies change post-partum, since you're still well under having a weight problem and you're at a healthy weight, your body might just like this weight. You look great :)
-
Bodies do have a happy weight, if you're eating variable amounts of calories and staying the same weight...you're probably at your happy weight.

Yay! I have a friend who's a married man's mistress and she's the nicest, sweetest person ever (we've been best friends forever!) but I can't help but wonder about the wife whenever she gushes about her married lover...
