build muscle on calorie deficit?
Hey guys! I've read that you need to be at a calorie surplus to gain muscle. If I am following MFP guidelines and eating at a deficit but eating at least 1 gram of protein for each lb of body weight can I still build muscle?

Can you save your workout calories??
Does anyone save their #Workout #calories ? Like I burnt 500 today and will only track 300 on #mfp. Save 200 a day I don't workout? There will be some days over the next two weeks I can't work out so I want to still be allowed more cals! Love to know your thoughts!

Can I REALLY eat more & weigh less?!?!
So I have met with a personal trainer, a nutritionist and looked online and all of them are telling me that to lose my remaining last 10 lbs of fat and build muscle I should be eating closer to 1800 calories a day. I am 5'7, 135 and work out 6 hours a week mixing weights and cardio on average. I have always stuck to…

Hey all! So when it comes to the scale I can get a little OCD about it and the number (silly I know) dictates how I feel about myself. Are there other ways that I can track my progress? Thanks :)

Increased cals and maintaining
Hey all, So I have increased my calories to the usualy reccomended of 1600-1700 (usually 100-200 under how much MFP tells me to eat once I enter my workouts) from closer to 1300/1400 in the past and am maintaining my weight. I was also maintaining before. Still working out the same amount. So I am wondering if you guys…

Hey All, When I started myfitpal about a week ago I was like, "How am I ever going to all these calories (with eating back exercise)?!?!" and now not even a week later I am a hunger monster! Like I wake up hungry for breakfast, am always ready for my meals and eating more (within my goal). Is this normal? You think my…

Under cals but SO full
I was aiming for 12-1400 calories a day and realized when joining MFP I should be eating at least 1450/ day plus my exercise which is typically 350-500 calories 5-6 days a week. Today it's telling me to eat 1750 but I'm SO full. Should I force down a small snack? I'm also trying to eat 1 g protein for each lb body weight…

Upping Cals after Under Eating
Hi there, I was under eating by too many cals, around 12-1400 a day while just joined myfitpal and they're saying I should eat closer to 1800-2000 a day to reach my weight loss goal of 1 lb/ week with exercise. If I just increase my cals and keep activity the same, will I gain weight? Or will I start losing again?

Eat exercise cals?
Hey everyone! So according to this food tracker, we eat back the calories we burn through exercise. Is that right? So my calorie goal is 1450 and if I burn 400 though exercise I'm supposed to eat 1850 and still have a 500 calorie deficit to loose 1 lb a week? A little confused and still new to this! Thanks!
