Hey everyone! My sugar goal is 35 g/day but it's ALWAYS higher! I have about 2 servings of fruit a day and nothing with added sugar! So confused! How do you stay under sugar?

I don't even try to limit my sugar goal. I've added in sodium and fiber into my settings instead. I like fruit and plan on eating 2-3 servings every day. I also eat about 8-10 servings of vegetables some of which are beans. Beans happen to be high in sugar, but are also high in fiber and protein.
I think if you are avoiding the obvious sugar such as sweets and pre-package foods and condiments you should be okay. Just be aware of the places sugar hides, like salad dressings and whole grain snacks.0
