How do you like your daikon?
My husband's co-worker just gave us two huge daikon radishes. We have two recipes - slice it up and marinate in vinegar, or shred it up, soak in soy sauce, and eat with rice. I was curious to see if anyone on MFP had a good daikon recipe. How do you like to prepare daikon?

Hold the phone! I just met my goal!
For ****s & giggles I stepped on the scale the other morning and realized that I was almost a pound and a half under my goal weight. I was so excited I forgot to put deodorant on before I left for two job interviews (still killed it on both of them). I joined MFP about two years ago after my dad had a stroke and I realized…

Applesauce Cornbread?
I have some Jiffy cornbread mix and some applesauce. I'd like to make some cornbread muffins - can I add the applesauce and be done with it, or do I need to add an egg, too?

But since we moved, I'm having trouble and I feel pretty terrible about using…

Orange You Glad I Didn't Say Banana?
So, for reasons known only to herself, my grandma gave me about 10 oranges. I'd love to make something interesting with them (I do love eating oranges, but 10 is a lot for me and my husband to handle on our own). Does anyone have a good recipe that uses a lot of oranges? Thanks!

Today is the first time I turned to exercise instead of food
I had a rough day. My dad had a stroke three months ago and so I've been working part time at the family business so that I can help him come back to work (and to help the family, I know the shop really busy right now). I commute three hours three days a week. My dad started coming in part time last week, and he seemed to…
